Good Book, Useful reference material
Brought to compliment a course I have done, recommended by the instructor and is comprehensive while simple to follow. This now lives with my first aid kit so I can refer to it if needed, and knowing I have this to help is a good comfort. I know that I can find information I need quick and follow any instructions easily.

I would rather have it and not need it than go without it.
The book itself is easy to understand and well laid out. It covers most of the problems that could arise that would not require an air ambulance and a miracle.It was a panic buy but a good one.I had a bad night where a 111 phone call escalated through the night to a 999 'ambulance on the way' for viral meningitis then someone called and cancelled the ambulance telling me to walk to my GP surgery when it opened in about 3 hours. I live over 5 miles from my GP and use a shopping trolley as a walker to get round the supermarket.It has left me very aware of how vulnerable I am.I have no medical qualifications past the most basic first aid so I want to have something to turn to in the event of anything...

A Must-Buy For Any Would-Be Medic!
If you had told me one year ago that I would be buying this book for myself I would have laughed. Me, a first-aider? But as I sat on the bus on my way to a DofE expedition, my leader began to tell us first aid horror story after horror story, from concussions to broken ankles.After spending a very paranoid three nights out on the expedition, I decided never to live in fear of a first aid emergency again, and so quickly pulled up Amazon and bought this first aid manual. Perfect.I feel a lot more confident in handling any first aid emergency now. In fact, when one of my teammates got a papercut on our final expedition, I was ready and prepared.You will not regret buying this book. The perfect peace of mind!
