I've been keeping reef tanks for over a decade and in that time have learned a lot about water quality. Where I live we have hard water and the quality is rather bad. I also have a whole house water softener and while even being on city water without a softener everything in my home will run red from iron. I know rather sad... you can't expect better quality water from our cities anymore. I realized regular 4.5 pound refill bag was empty a little to late to wait on ordering one as the shipping is rather slow. At that time my TDS meter TDS = Total Dissolved Solids was already showing around 10 and this was the best option I could find on Amazon with quick shipping and price but more expensive than only buying the resign separate from the containers and refilling yourself. This DI-Resin brought my TDS right back to 0 and I've experienced no issues after using it for several months and I'm still using my first replacement filter. The life the product seems to be in along the same lines as the other brand I usually use. Thumbs Up - Great Product

I purchased these RODI filters to put in Frigidaire canisters to use for washing my vehicles. What a difference they made for removing the water spots on my car, our water has Lots of calcium and mineral deposits in it which left an insane amount of water spots on my vehicles after washing ( I couldn't dry it fast enough) I'm using a 5 micron carbon pre-filter and then 1 RODI filter and what a difference it's made! I can literally let my car air dry with No water spots! I've used 1 filter so far and after 10+ uses it's still performing great. I plan on adding a 1 micron pre-filter to extend the life of the RODI filter. All in all I've made a car wash water filtration system for under $100.00 that works perfect with no reduction in water volume or pressure. I would recommend this product!

I usually have no issues with this product and I’m hoping that’s the case with these new ones. I’ve never seen the plastic inner bottom piece mid way of the container before so I opened a 2nd one and it was the same.

Reading the reviews there seems to be a lot of people trying to use these AS THE water filter, and then leaving negative reviews when it doesn't work.. Resin does not work that way. These are NOT water filters in the classic sense. These REFILLABLE filters are to be used as the LAST filter RO water passes through to get 0/ZERO TDS DI or spot free rinse water. To be economical buy bulk resin and REFILL them when they are spent, as they are meant to be. It is much cheaper to use a car wash than to buy new the filters when they are used up.

Great product and customer service

We have hard water where we live and if I did not completely dry the car right after washing, it looked like an elephant got too excited all over it. I bought a dual filter container system to provide double the hardness removal. It works PERFECTLY!!! To save your resin, I recommend removing the filter system after the wash and draining the filter containers do they are not sitting in the hard water. I just refilled two of the containers and it was super easy. My only complaint is that when I opened the containers it smelled like tuna fish. It may be from my not draining them after each use.

I use these to deionize my hard tap water. They take my tap water from 205 ppm to 1 ppm

I’m using these in a double filter car wash set up. I was getting a bad reading almost equal to my tap water. I then disconnected my outlet hose and read it right off the filter outlet and got a much better reading. The filters will get used up quickly if using them for car washing but it was still cheaper that DI tank delivery for me.

This works so well I really can't say enough good about it. A little pricey but it's effective.

I can’t say for certain what the issue is with the cartridge . While they fit, I kept getting 2-3 tds. Got a refillable cartridge and filled it with the SAME resin and finally getting 0 tds.
