This is the best system I have found to get someone’s attention above and below the water when diving. Any layer of safety we can add to our gear is a definite must.

I used this one day in the water, and used it about 6-7 times underwater. It's not 'loud' by any means but, it does have a unique sound underwater so, lots better than a tank banger. Very easy to install, unobtrusive, looks like good quality.

It is exactly what I was looking for. I recommend.

But when they wanted 3x the online price, well, good luck with that. It works. It clicked onto my lines easily. Nice "airhorn" on the surface - though I'd say try and cover your ears while you set it off. Underwater, a good whale fart to get people's attention. Granted though: tank banger, shakers, or tapping a metal link doesnt use a blurp of air.

Good for emergencies. You can hear from long distances

It's great for grabbing attention when you're underwater, particularly in cold conditions when you're wearing a hood. Rattles may not be loud enough, sometimes. Above water, it'll just about deafen you, it's so loud. Excellent in an emergency.
