Does this replace part #109113? This part resembles it alot.

Yes, it is. I was a bit skeptical with "116653" in the description, but the part is exactly the same, even has 109113 on it.

How do you install this? Got the part free from Moen but can't find instructions on what to do with it.

Why do I need this part? I removed it and the handle works just fine. Is it for protection?

This part limits how far the handle can be turned and needs to be in place to provide support and prevent damage.

Way better price than name brand

Listen, for less than 7 bucks, I would buy this again in a heartbeat to avoid paying $83 at the local hardware store for a full trim kit just to get the part I needed. Is this name brand? No. Does it 100% fit exactly as the old one did? No. But it’s pretty close. And if the only issue is that the plastic on this is a little thicker than the original, causing the set screw not to screw all the way into the hole, I’m not bothered by that aesthetic issue enough to pay $80+ for a genuine Moen part. Save yourself some money and buy this. It works.
