We have a very active puppy and she is now 11 months old. We started to become concerned about her hyperactivity when her Fi collar notified us that she isn’t napping enough and is basically very active most of the day. This is when we decided to try the Calming Aid with her and it works so well. She goes down for her scheduled naps and calmed her down a bit. She’s still crazy at times but it’s really helped with her behavior because she knows to rest and nap now. We plan to repurchase this!

Our pups love the flavor of these. I was a bit worried because to me they smelled a bit like licorice but they LOVE them. We just ordered our second tin and set up subscribe and save! Sometimes they work better than other times, it may depend on how close to meal time they have consumed them? Meaning if it is shortly after a meal it just calms them slightly whereas empty stomach knocks them out (if that makes sense). THEY definitely work! They have a greater impact on our older dog than our younger dog too but again age plays a factor in everything, doesn't it? We wouldn't be able to survive without these. So glad I found them. We recently had a friend staying with us which meant our house went from two dogs to FOUR dogs and it calmed her dogs down as well. It was definitely needed after long days of play! Highly recommend if you have active dogs who need help calming down at night, or anxious dogs due to fireworks, storms etc. We had a huge windstorm while my friend was here and it was bothering her dog and these definitely helped calm her lab down. Hands down work better than the previous supplement tried for the same thing. If you're skeptical (like I was) just try one month. Hopefully you'll be a believer like I was after the month is over!

Love the product for my dog. The tin of Finn was badly dented because it was shipped in an amazon bag. No padding, no box, just a paper bag and the tin of Finn calming aid.

I’m blown away by how effective this product is! And it didn’t knock my dogs out like a prescribed sedative they took one time in the past. So prior to buying this product, I had a handyman come to my home to assess some projects and provide a quote. He was at the house for less than an hour as I walked around showing him various areas of my house. My dogs were in their crates and had given them toys and treats to keep them occupied. My hound whined the entire time. My bulldog barked constantly and chewed all the stuffing out of his bed. So I bought these soft chews with hopes it would at least calm them a little when the contractor came back to do repairs. That morning I have one chew to my 60 lb hound and two chews to my 50 lb bully. For 8 hours, the contractor was either hammering, drilling, sawing, or making other loud noises and made frequent trips past their crates while carrying a big ladder. I cannot believe it but they both remained calm the whole day. No one would guess these are the same dogs! It was so much less stress on them and on me having them relaxed and comfortable during a time with a stranger walking around making lots of strange sounds. I can’t recommend this product enough. In my dog’s situation, it worked miracles!

I've tried a myriad of calming supplements/medications ranging from CBD, l-theanine chew, adaptil products, etc.). I had to bring my dog on a flight, but I was worried that she was going to be over threshold the whole time. I decided to look at the different calming supplements on Amazon. I decided to go with Finn due to all the amazing review the product has. I NEVER will trial and error a supplement on the day of travel. So I purchased this a few weeks ago. During the trial phase, I didn't see any noticeable changes in my dog. She wasn't calming and she wasn't as relaxed as I wanted her to be. I eventually decided to go the medication route instead (and travel was a breeze - she had her head out the whole time and enjoyed traveling). I'm sure the ingredients in this chew have calming properties. However, it had no effect whatsoever on my dog. On a side note, these do smell pretty bad. If I had to compare it to something, it smells like blueberries mixed with beef jerky. I can't recommend this product, but I can see how this MIGHT help some dogs.

This is my 100% honest review…From the first day we adopted Max he has had severe anxiety especially when it comes to loud noises, we live out in the country and near a military training area so fireworks, gunfire from hunting and loud booming noises are very common. His anxiety recently has gotten horrible with the constant shaking (like a giant chihuahua), panting, stress shedding and wetting his crate and constantly ruining his bedding. We have tried so many other calming products including a prescription for Trazadone, which doesn’t work for him. I bought these as a last minute and last resort attempt to help him get through the night ahead. Long story short, I gave Max the recommended dose yesterday and he pretty much slept through the New Years fireworks last night (there were a lot!) I am SO glad we tried this product and I am hopeful now that Max can enjoy life and be more relaxed in the future as long as I have these! I will absolutely purchase these again. ABSOLUTELY 100%.
