UNSOLVED CASE FILES | Falcone, Veronica - Cold Case Murder Mystery Game | Can You Solve The Crime?

This was a great date night game! We needed some hints, but we were in the right areas. Will order from this company again!

I had some friends over, including some spouses I didn't know well, and this provided great structure for an evening of entertainment. We had a wonderful time reading various clue sheets out loud and pondering the mystery as a group. You solve a mini mystery at each of three steps (like, whose alibi doesn't match, where is the body buried, that kind of thing), and at each of the three checkpoints go to a web page to see if you have gotten the step right; if you do get it right you open a new envelope with more evidence. I wish the game didn't depend on a web page, since it means I can't squirrel them away on my shelf for (possibly) years. But overall, for the price it was a fantastic evening, and we had a great time. The 1940's-era misogyny is heavy, and it reduced how much we enjoyed it, but overall it was a 5-star experience and for a group, absolutely worth the money. We'll be doing more, hopefully set in a less frustrating era.

Great date night game!

Bought this game for my son. He and his wife absolutely loved it! They said it took 4 hours to play, they had a table full of clues, but they enjoyed every minute. They are passing it around to their friends.

We got an entire afternoon/evening of fun from this mystery. It was a good, affordable gift. Unlike some other mystery games, you could actually package everything back up and give it to a friend to solve next. It was pretty difficult. Due to the way things were worded, the second objective was rather unclear. The hints helped a lot though. Compared to some other similar case solving mystery games, this one was pretty well thought out and not overly long. We might try others from this company in the future.

I've played about a half dozen of these Mystery Casefiles games (which are far superior to the To Hunt a Killer games in my opinion). This one is BY FAR my favorite! So many details, so many smart storylines and diversions. I had a good idea of who pretty early but getting to the motive was a real challenge but an enjoyable one. The struggle was fun instead of frustrating and I really appreciated that this one didn't hold your hand while you went through it. I actually felt like I was doing detective work instead of playing a game. Loved it!

I ordered it because we really like detective movies, escape rooms, escape room board games etc. I can say it was one of the best game I ever played at home. Straight after this I ordered another one (Jane Doe case) both are amazing. Highly recommend.

Really good fun. Better than reading a murder mystery.
