First off, let me say that my wife and I were nervous about ordering a sink for our new island from a brand we'd never heard of off of Amazon. But in building our dream kitchen island, we wanted to make sure we weren't missing any new trends or useful innovations. Amazon gave us a wide variety of sinks with a lot of bells and whistles. We were close to buying one with an LED display and a lighted waterfall. But KRAUS kept coming up in our research both on and off the site, so we pulled the trigger. That was one year ago. I have found very few things wrong with this sink since. We were concerned our hard water would leave visible stains against the black surface if we didn't keep cleaning it. Not true. The water drains and/or dries and the surface is stain free. We were concerned the lipped rim for the cutting board and drying rack was a gimmick we'd never use. Not true. We use it constantly. All in all, you won't be disappointed if you're looking for a huge drop in sink that will make a subtle statement in your kitchen. Cons? The only cons MIGHT be the rubbery surface of the drying rack. That does tend to hold water stains, but a quick scrub with a sponge takes them right off. I would also add that we don't use the cutting board as much as we used to, because it is pretty big to leave in at all times if you have a tendency to load up dirty dishes there. We do use the drying rack all the time because you can fold it on itself or roll it up. Another minor con - and I'm not sure it's any different from any other single-basin sink - is that the angle toward the drain is very gradual. It does take some effort to get food on the far end to go down to the disposal side. To solve this, we bought one of those mushroom-shaped disposal plugs that doubles as a way to stuff food down the disposal. (I also can't believe I've gone decades living in homes with disposals without buying one of those sooner, by the way) If you're on the fence because of the name brand, don't be - KRAUS makes a grade A product.

I got the white undermount sink. It is gorgeous, spacious and deep. Due to the slope the water flows to the drain well. The sink comes with a drying rack coated in silicone that rolls up (see video), and the cutting board. I was afraid it might stain easily, but I have washed dishes w/red pepper oil sauce with no issues. The material is sturdy, but not hard. It has a matte, non-slip surface. It doesn't need a protective rack at the bottom the way a porcelain sink might need to prevent some dishes from breaking. I couldn't find anything that even compared to it at department stores. The contractor that installed the countertop as well as the plumber both commented on the good quality of the sink. Mine came very well packaged and obviously arrived without any cracks. Overall, I am extremely satisfied/happy with this sink.

If you live alone, have no children and are a perfectionist about cleaning, then this is the sink for you. If you do not meet this criteria- do not buy. I can’t imagine what this white sink would look like with children living in the house. As it is, there is only me and my husband, no kids, I am a perfectionist about keeping things clean, and yet it is impossible to keep any light stains away. I bought this after reading somewhere that it is stain resistant, to red wines, red sauces and brown drinks. NO. It is not. My husband drinks tea every morning and afternoon, and is usually good about pouring anything left over down the drain, not into the sink. He also pours his leftover Diet Coke down the drain. Two or three times since owning this sink, he has poured his drink into the sink but forgot to rinse it down the drain. I didn’t discover this until 2+ hours later. The tea, or coke, seemed to have seeped, or actually absorbed directly into the material of the sink and has left a light/medium brown stain. I wish I had taken a photo of it, but I was so panicked by what I saw, all I could do was start cleaning! I can’t tell you how many hours of scrubbing, and how many cleansers I used, it’s still there- lighter, but not completely gone. I used baking soda, vinegar, Oxi Clean powder, Borax, Dawn, Barkeepers Friend…. And I let these things sit for a bit, too. I am so angry and so disappointed with this sink. Unfortunately I see us replacing this probably in another year. It is a very, very “high maintenance” sink. I spend A LOT of time while preparing meals and cleaning up, cleaning this sink!! I can’t tell you you how often I am constantly cleaning it, making sure all liquids are rinsed down the drain… oh.. and tomato sauce and Italian foods are a disaster. As are raspberries and blueberries. If you have children DO NOT BUY a this sink!!! You will regret it.

This sink is so elegant, so easy to clean, and so durable! I've owned porcelain ceramic and stainless sinks before. This quartz composite is SOOO much better! Everything wipes right off with just a little water and sponge. Nothing cakes on or leaves residue. And the quartz has this delicate sheen look to it despite how sturdy and durable the material actually is. I love the drying rack to wash my fragile items like wine glasses. I don't use the cutting board as often but I do appreciate that it fits in the sink to stuff off the messy bits direct to the sink.

Best purchase I have made. It makes the area look really upscale. The price was great. It worked for my sink which the size was 34 inches. The quality is really great if feels good. The depth of the sink is great it did not hang low but the sick or really deep.

Our sink is four years old today. I wanted to clear up some misinformation in many of the reviews. First. My wife loves the sink. The single large bowl provides loads of room for “sink duties”. She will never never go back to double sides. We have a garbage disposal in the one drain and it works flawlessly. She also uses the drain rack often. It a nice feature We used black mamba adhesive to secure the sink to the countertop and it has worked perfectly for four years. The quartz material itself has exceeded expectations for durability. Granted, we are careful people BUT, we do have a 10 year old and 17 year old and the are “not so much”. You can not find even a mark in this sink Regarding stains. You can see the color is as pristine as the day it arrived. It does stain easily, especially tomato sauce, but also cleans very easily. Those using scrubbing brushes and powders are probably not getting it clean and are very frustrated. Once every couple of months we put several layers of paper towels in the sink and soak them with Clorox the next morning we remove them resulting in a spotless sink. That method has worked for four years. I can’t speak to other colors but this bone color looks amazing There has not been a single negative to this sink (I’m the guy that would list negatives alphabetically). Kudos to this manufacturer. Not often products are a home run but this one is.

I love my new sink. This is my first granite single bowl sink and I couldnt be happier. It arrived in perfect condition. The accesories are items I never knew would be so useful. Overall, very happy and it looks great in my new kichen. I was not able to use the drain accesories as we installed a garbage disposal. I ordered mine in gray color.

Love this sink! Deep sink makes it easy to clean pots and pans. The accessories that come with the sink (drying rack and cutting board) are so useful. Great buy!

The quality of this sink exceeded all my expectations Also, it was a 100$ less on Amazon compared to Wayfair!

This sink is beautiful and functional. Love the granite composite material and workstation accessories. The sink however is not black (metallic black is the listed colour). It is very much grey/stone coloured. We needed true black to coordinate with the rest of the kitchen so it was returned.

Quedó super bonito! Lo único es que llegó ligeramente rayado pero nada de importancia. Me encanta cómo se ve!
