Supplements, Liquid Magnesium with Trace Minerals, 8 oz

I wish this tasted better but it does the trick of making me feel calmer and ready for sleep.

This supplement was recommended by my Doctor to see if we could raise my very low magnesium level. I am giving 5 stars because it is what it says it is, and you are forewarned on the taste before you even purchase it. It is a gagging taste, but if you really need Mag, its short lived. You must know that I have a malabsorption issue, so I didn't have much hope. However, I saw a rise in my levels of .1 - this is a low amount, but given my issues it did have an affect. To anyone needing to raise their Mag levels I also suggest Magnesium spray, as your body absorbs the Mag more effectively than if it is digested. Unfortunately the next step for my is Magnesium infusions. If you are healthy and looking for some extra Mag, then this is the product you should try. Magnesium is the most essential mineral our bodies need to survive.

Great product. Use it every day

I took the 1/4 tsp dosage in the evening. I had a sip of pineapple juice first, then shake the bottle and put dosage in the glass swirled it around and drank the small glass. I did not notice a bad taste and had a small plate of fresh fruit and Brie. I will update review at a later date. Cheers! Update Jan 2024: While I have not been consistent using this product, I am now. Be sure NOT to take more than the recommended amount as too much magnesium can have very bad side effects, fatal. Recommend taking it with sipping juice or smoothie first, then stir in the dosage even if only a few drops seem to work no muscle aches, swelling, bloating, or fatigue. I am also using a magnesium oil spray at night on bottom of my feet.

I am so glad I found this! I get magnesium deficient from time to time and end up with muscle spasms and TMJ issues cause by my face muscles tightening up. Magnesium pills were too hard to swallow or too large. This liquid does the trick and my body absorbs it so fast and stops my muscles from giving me issues and relax them quickly. This works wonders, but the taste is horrible! I tried mixing with food or drinks, but it dulls the tastes and you can tell that's in it. Taking it straight up is just was bad. You just have to choose the lesser of the two evils.

I’m very disappointed with this product. I generally like the NOW supplement line, but I can’t tolerate the taste nor the astringency of this liquid. It’s by far one of the nastiest things I’ve ever ingested. I attempted to mix it with some jam and it was still all you could taste.

I didn’t know any better and took the recommended serving amount straight to the chest. No mixing. My GAWD. This is the most horrid thing I have ever taken in my LIFE. Like I was shook to my core once it hit my taste buds. Like many others, I am in desperate need of magnesium, but I was not READY. However, on the bright side I felt the effects within 10 minutes. I will update yall once I have taken it for a while. (If I can get past the taste that is).

Product is great and as advertised. The flavor isn't great but fine if added to a drink. *Another reviewer made a long review stating that the product ran out sooner than expected, thus the mfr exaggerated the # of servings. Well... let's do the math! The bottle says there are about 178 servings per container (8 oz- which is 237 ml) and 1 serving size is 1/4 tsp, which is 1.33 ml. 1.33×178=236.74 This means that after 178 doses there's actually a tad bit left. The label is absolutely correct.

I didn’t realised how much metallic taste there was when it came to the liquid. But I’m am very happy with the product and to be able to mix it in different items like different cold drinks and different meals. Purchasing this product has made it easier to take, then to take Magnesium in elephant sized pills.
