Great for people with kids!
We play a lot of cards in my family and have weekly tournaments, kids included. Our card budget was ridiculous last year...sticky little hands and "still learning" how to shuffle meant that every other month we'd be buying new decks. Sick of that, we came on to Amazon and found these. Unlike the old Kem cards, these are very soft like regular playing cards. To test durability, we gave the jokers a kid test... Sticky kid prints can be easily washed off with warm water and dish soap. We could not tear the corners, and it takes a whole lot to even crease them. For anyone who plays a lot of card games, especially if you have a house full of kids, these are a definite no-brainer!

Slick At First, But Breaks In Well
I like playing cribbage with my husband. And I like playing double solitaire when I travel. I picked up two sets (four decks)-- one set of two for home, and one set of two for my travel bag. They're great, reliable, shuffle well, are easy to read, and are just a fabulous, comfortable set of cards. I haven't had the ink smudge or wear, and I haven't had the plastic tear. They're dependable and satisfying. Thanks, DaVinci!

Good Cards, But Not As Good As KEMs
In the last year I've experimented with three qualities and brands of playing cards. The DaVinci Club Casinos are an excellent buy if you do not play cards that often. I play gin rummy practically every day with the same group. For a long time, years, we bought bulk Bicycle cards from Costco. As I recall, there were about a dozen decks and the cost was $15 or so. It seemed we went through a couple of decks every week or two. Then I experimented with these Da Vinci Casino cards. They were dramatically better. The two decks of Di Vinci cards lasted about twice as long as the dozen Bicycle decks. We played with them for three months or so and found them much more pleasant to play with than the Bicycles, even when the DiVincis were old. Finally, I got KEM playing cards and they are clearly the best (in all the players opinions) for someone playing cards frequently. I'm still playing with the same two decks of KEMs I bought months ago and they still feel like new when we shuffle them. The other cards bend whereas KEMs have not. Ink on the other decks ultimately gets thin from being shuffled. Not the KEMs. If you're an occasional card player, the quality of the cards you play may not matter and I'd suggest DaVinci if you want to save a few bucks. We play quite a bit and are not as careful as we should be. For us KEMs are the best we've found.

Fantastic Cards! Great for the home game
I bought these and the KEM cards. The KEMs are thinner and don't feel as sturdy, even though they are. The KEMs are built for the casino style shuffler versus the bridge shuffler. I like the heavier, thicker, more sturdy card since I tend to sit at the end of the table at my home game and the heavier cards are much easier to shoot to the other end of the table without them flipping up and turning into an unexpected burn card. All in all both decks are great, it just comes down to preference in feel and shuffle style.

The question you come across when Googling buying plastic poker cards is "What is better, KEM or Copag?" I own both and just got a set of Da Vinci and I would have to say that I prefer the feel of the Da Vinci cards to either the Copag or KEM cards. Great quality, great seller, fast, accurate, top notch quality of these cards!

Heard great things about these cards but I didn't like them much. They feel slightly thicker and a bit clumsier than other plastic cards I've handled like Copag. They also have a very strong plastic smell, and my fingers even felt a little greasy after handling them.
