BUY THIS ONE!
I purchased this to wash my 2018 Sierra truck and it works great! Let me start by telling you my previous method. I was using a Sun Joe 2030 psi pressure washer with a foam canon. The cons for myself were having to move around the pressure washer, garden hose, power cord, and pressure hose (20 ft.) around a large truck. A 50 ft. hose would have solved those issues, but I didn’t want so spend an additional $70+ for that. However the biggest inconvenience was having to rinse the suds off, it seemed like way too much effort than was necessary to do. So this is why I wanted a foam gun instead. There are 5 settings for the amount of soap used A through E. E being the max will drench your vehicle with tons of suds, the downside is you’ll be out of soap very quickly! I found C to be the best for a large truck. I was able spray a coat of suds on one side and continue to spray as I used a wash mit. I washed my entire truck and had a little under a 1/4 of soap left. Detaching the bottle and using the pistol grip to rinse is awesome! It’s not a fan spread type, but more like a blast of water. You can quickly rinse the entire vehicle while removing any bug spots you missed. The quality of this product is good, the plastic used seems pretty durable. As long as your not tossing it around your driveway like a garden hose, this should last for a long time. If you’re looking for an alternative to a pressure washer, this is the way to go!

Worth every penny
I got tired of having to drag out the pressure washer and foam cannon to was . the cars. it took more time to drag out and hook up the pressure washer than it does to do the actual washing, then you have to clean it out and pack it back up. So I decided to give this one a try. It works great IF you follow a couple of steps. first, you need to see what setting works for your soap. Second you need to dilute with water some thicker soaps. I used the cheap meguairs stuff in my garage and it was thick like honey, at first try it did not do well even on the E setting. so I added about 2 ounces of water to the soap and swirled it around to make it mix this was basically a 3 parts soap to 1 part water mix at this point. suddenly it started shooting a LOT of suds. I was able to back down to the C setting and was getting awesome results. do I get the sticky snow soap? nope. but I am washing cars, not setting up a photo shoot. This cut my washing time down to 1/2 of what I had before. effortless to set up, no real cleanup, no real teardown. now I can spend time waxing and detailing. Remember you may have to dilute your soap if it's too thick, and you have to change the settings to get what you want. you have the setting too high if you cant get the soap off the car easily when rinsing.

This foamaster is a nice quality foam gun
This foamaster is a nice quality foam gun. It could use some improvement in one area, but it is still one of the better foam guns that hooks up to the water hose. Using it just makes washing my cars easier, faster, and with better end results. I mostly use chemical guys Citrus wash and gloss soap with it. A few ounces of the soap and it foams up really nicely with the gun just on the second setting. The foam reduces the chance of getting swirl marks when washing your car, but my favorite thing about the foam is that you the soap is already on the car. So you dont need much soap in the bucket to get your car washed properly. Just enough soap in a bucket of water to soak your wash pad and get a few suds on the pad is enough. The gun is made of plastic. A durable plastic, but its still plastic. That isnt why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 though, because everything seems to be made out of plastic these days. I think the gun is durable enough for me to get my moneys worth out of it, but I like it so much I ordered a second one for when this one finally breaks. Anyway the reason I gave the foamaster II 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the detachable spray gun itself. The gun for some reason only shoots out a stream of water which isnt a deal breaker, but I really dont like hitting my car with a heavy stream of water and with spray gun no matter how you adjust the nozzle or press the trigger you just can not get it to shoot a spray of water.

So long to the bucket and sponge!
Two must have products for anyone who washes cars. Makes the process so much easier. Gilmour 95QGFMR Foamaster II Cleaning Sprayer Forget the ol' sponge and bucket. This thing soaps up and rinses my car within minutes. I've always hated reaching over and bending up n' down just to soap up my car. This things saves me both time and stress when washing my baby. PROS: - Speeds up the car washing process immensely. - No more bucket and sponging. My back and knees thank you! - Off switch so you could still water the plants. - Inexpensive CONS: - None Pilot Automotive CC-2010 11" Soft and Dry Water Blade Before, I had to work fast to get my car dry. The longer I take, the more water spots I would get. This thing makes drying a breeze (pun intended). PROS: - Quicker and more efficient than wiping your car dry with a towel or shammy - Doesn't leave lint like towels or shammies - Fun to use!!! - No need to dry or wash it (like towels) CONS: - Doesn't work as well on complex curves - A squeegee-like handle would be nice

It's not as good as a foam Cannon for a real power washer of course but nothing will be, and I think this is about as good as you can get with a regular hose. For the price I find that the quality is very good, it does a pretty good job of foaming up the soap. The quick disconnect for the hose is a nice convenience too. I've had no issues with leaks on any of the interconnects. The trigger action on the sprayer goes through several different spraying styles as you pull it, starting with a sharp narrow blast, then a wide cone spray and then finally a heavy-flow low velocity that is good for filling buckets and drenching things. It takes some technique to use this effectively because you have to hold the trigger in exactly the right place but it's a very nice subtle touch that I appreciate. I had to put some grease on the trigger action to loosen it up but after that haven't had any trouble with it since.

It's exactly what I expected. A foam wash sprayer that suds my vehicles. Easy to use, easy to attach. Connects to a standard lawn hose and sprays a good amount of soap suds. I use Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash for my soap and it works perfectly. Very convenient that the spray handle detaches easily for the rinse of the soap. Remember, this is not a high pressure foam wash so if that is what you want, this is not the item for you. But if you want a soap sprayer which disperses a good amount of soap suds so you don't have to use a bucket, this item does the job.

Works as described - amazing for washing cars. Use Gilmour nozzles on all my hoses around the house and this is the latest addition. Saves time and the neighbors will ask you where you got it when they see you using it! Product is built well, feels sturdy and I expect to use this for years to come. You'll see this same sprayer branded by Chemical Guys for $40 more elsewhere, but it's the same thing. Nothing wrong with Chemical Guys - they make amazing products, but you should be aware..
