I am that person that cannot sleep if there is one speck of light in my room. I bought this for a trip as I didn't know if the VRBO homes we were staying at would have room darkening panels. I definitely needed this for house number 2. Pluses: -It's super soft, even with the weighted filler (that you can move around to adjust where the weight goes) -It has an adjustable strap; it's not one size fits all -The lavender scent is very refreshing and calming -It made everything DARK -It was surprisingly comfortable to wear in 90+ degree weather and 100% humidity. I didn't sweat under it; it appeared pretty breathable (the VRBO had NO A/C) The not so great: Take note: I am not used to sleeping with anything on my face as I live in the middle of nowhere; a mask is not necessary at home. I love my weighted blanket, so I figured I'd enjoy a weighted eye mask. My eyeballs do not feel the same way. It wasn't painful uncomfortable but more like a bit of gentle pressure that mildy reminded me of sinus pressure but on my eyes instead of behind them (and if you're a chronic sinus sufferer, you know what I'm talking about). It wasn't enough to offput me from falling asleep as I could adjust where the weight was in my mask and was successful every night at bedtime to get it in just the right place but due to the fact I perform acrobatics in my sleep, the weight would move and may have added to my restlessness and thusly, the mask moving around (forehead, chin and floor). I did not keep it tight because my eyes didn't like the weighted pressure fully on them. Yet, it wasn't super loose either, I have to use my hand to actually move it (I'm certain my hair helped wiggle the mask about; thankfully it never got caught up in my long hair - another plus). Overall, I don't think there is anything wrong with the product. It was comfortable to put on, adjust and actually fall asleep in. I just think since I'm not used to it and my eyes didn't care for the pressure and I'm a samurai in my sleep (and it was HOT in the room), it just made for a difficult night.

lavender smell is calming and not too strong. eye mask stays in place during the night, but not too heavy on the eyes. really works to keep out light and help fall asleep and stay asleep.

The soothing sent of lavender, the weight and the silliness are the perfect combo to take you into a great nights rest.

This mask is smooth and silky. Has a nice weight. It smelled lightly of lavender when I opened it, but it didn't last. The only thing I don't like is that there is no seam so the interior weighed beads aren't evenly distributed and they tend to fall one side. It's hard to even them out when you put on the mask. Overall I'm satisfied.

I like it. Lavender scent was very strong when I got it, but after a few days, it has a nice scent.

Love the weighted mask, not too heavy on eyes and blocks the light.

My favorite sleep mask! Soo comfy! The satin doesn’t break out my super sensitive skin.. It’s decently heavy on the eyes which makes me feel snug has a bug & helps with my sleep anxiety! 💕

So I love that it’s plain black bc it helps keep the light out really well. I also love that it still smells like lavender after a month of use. I really, really dislike the beads to it though. I thought that it being weighted would be nice and I do enjoy the pressure and it helps with “sealing” around the edges to keep light out, BUT the beads aren’t quilted in or held down in anyway, and as you lay down or roll over, the beads shift all over the place. This turns into a problem because they’re heavy enough that it compresses my nostrils shut and collapses my nose, which makes me SNORE!!! It solved one problem but created another. There needs to be some stitching to keep the beads from all sinking to one side and to free up some space around the nose. I feel like this was designed by someone who doesn’t actually wear sleep masks.

Unfortunately I had some sort of allergy to the mask. It's important to note that I have used lavender infused masks before without issue . This particular mask caused an allergic reaction on only one of my eyes, not the other. I wore the mask two nights in a row. The reaction was more severe the second night and caused severe discomfort for a few days. That being said I didn't find any issues with the overall design of the mask. Some people said it was maybe too heavy and tied a tendency to punch up. This is a weighted mask but I didn't find it overly heavy. The elastic band is very comfortable. It's adjustable and stretchy. If you fit the mask properly to your face, the beads will Nestle into your eyes perfectly and not move around. I also found it had good blackout properties. There was no light coming through whatsoever.

It fits well and completely blocks out the light. I have ordered these a few times because the elastic eventually stretches out over my big head. haha!
