Applied Mineral Inventory Estimation

If you have anything to do with resource estimation, this is a very good book to have. Covers in enough detail each sub topic required to produce as reliable as possible the estimation parameters. Recommended. One of the other reviewers just likes to through stones. The methods are industry accepted.

Very good book, good combination between theory and practice, and good explanation & examples. I hate the super theory-documents, so this book for me is excellent.

This is an excellent book covering all aspects of the subject including data collection, verification, and analysis along with geostatistics. Good sections on making sure that the statistically derived answers make geologic sense, a most important aspect. Anyone in the mineral inventory estimation field should get a copy.

Between 1965 and 1970 Professor Georges Matheron's most gifted disciples stripped the variance off the distance-weighted and called what was left a kriged estimate to honor D G Krige. Infinite sets of kriged estimates and zero kriging variances are but aberrations in applied statistics.

The book is incredibly helpful and clear. Great for studying resource assessment and geostatistics. Be careful if you buy it from BM Books. the book is fine but I was told I was getting a new copy and it is definitely not new. No major issues, just some marker marks but certainly not new.

I've used this book for a couple of years but it seemed to get lost in a recent move, so looked immediately on Amazon because I really wanted another copy and got it at a great price.

Excellent! Would love more examples and diagrams.
