Amazing coffee maker, easy to use, straight forward cleaning and programming for delay brew. Absolutely no problems with delivery and quality.

This time I relied heavily on previous customer reviews and I have no regrets. This is an excellent coffee machine. I broke the glass jug in my previous machine twice and couldn’t get a replacement so I decided to buy this as it was also heavily discounted. What I love is that the glass jug has a removable lid which is perfect especially since I put all my dishes in the dishwasher. Also the jug pours water and coffee perfectly without spilling over as the spout has a better design(an issue I had with a previous brand). The coffee is brewed quickly and the best part is the auto -off function. After about 30mins the heating plate goes off on its own. I’ve used the coffee timer a few times, I’m sure this will be very convenient when the schools start again in September. This machine also looks nice with its brushed steel front. It has a strong coffee function which I haven’t tried yet, the normal coffee is perfect as it is for my taste and amount of coffee grinds I use (I recommend freshly ground beans). It also comes with a reusable filter which I don’t use as I prefer a paper filter (size 4 fits fine). Highly recommend this if you like a fresh cup of coffee in the mornings. **Edit: August 2022** My coffee carafe / jug slipped out of my hand and broke. Got an original replacement for 29dhs (discounted from 33dhs) from the Authorised Black and Decker service centre. (Do a Google or Google maps search online for Stanley Black and Decker service centre).

Works perfectly fine, I just prefer to use the paper filters I believe it changes the taste of the coffee the filter that comes with the machine.

My sister got my a Nespresso for my birthday 3 years ago. I decided I wanted to try the normal coffee maker, where you grind your own coffee and stuff instead of relying on getting capsules regular. I'll categorize my review as 1) cleaning, 2) required items, 2) first brew, 3) programming 4) general tips 1) Cleaning: I first washed the thing with water and let the water run through the tubes using the brewing feature, but obviously this was only to thoroughly clean it. 2) Items you may need: You might wanna get a size 4 filter instead of the one that came with this on. Also, you need a coffee grinder and some beans. I got my beans from starbucks, my favorite is the Columbian beans for about 40 AED. 3) First experience: just like another review said, you will smell plastic on the first try but that doesn't affect the taste of the brewed coffee. Eventually the smell went away after the 3rd try. 4) Programming (setting a coffee timer): To use the programming feature, press the "Program" button, then choose a time, and press "Delay Brew" button. The time you choose should start brewing the coffee. 5) General tips: I researched this but ill save you the trouble since you got this far into this review. A normal mug is about 2.5 cups of water. So if you're a couple, go for five. You'll need 2 tablespoon per cup (use the one that came with it).

Ideal for those who prefer a cooler coffee and value a stylish, user-friendly design. For lovers of steaming-hot brews, consider alternative models.
