I was looking for very strong struts for my project to lift quite a heavy door and I have tried 3 different pairs before this one. Only criticism I’d place with mounting brackets, although they are looking substantial, they started to bend when under force, I had to put some extra supports.

Quality product, easy to fit, clear instruction and works as described.

I purchased these springs to help lift a heavy wooden lid on the recycling containment area, although the lid is very heavy I only needed one of the struts to make the lid easy enough to open with one hand. I was very pleased with the results, these struts are strong and very well made

I purchased two of the struts to replace those on my aluminum truck across bed bed tool box. I went a little overboard and purchased a stronger strut . It takes me both hands and a little more effort to close the lid but these struts are fantastic. Next time I purchase I will pay more attention to the details before ordering. These work great and I have no buyers remorse. In my opinion they are well made and sure do a good job.

I was told these things don't hold as much weight as they seem, but the 55lb were way more than I needed. It's okay, I'm impressed!

I ended up not needing this product but wanted to leave a review of my experience. Product arrived a day earlier than anticipated- exceeded my expectations. Product was packaged well and felt like very material was sturdy and would hold up well. My only gripe was the instructions were not very good; a link to a YouTube video would have been helpful.
