Sorry to inform you that it can't connect with 4pin 12v connector.
It can only connect with 5v 3pin rgb header.
Or you can choose not to connect with motherboard, connect with the sata power supply and control the fan lights through the remote control.

Sorry to inform you that this is not pwm controller, it's RF remote and 6pin fan hub.
