Is it greasy after applying?

Not typically, no. Of course everyone’s chemistry is different. You have to rub it in to your pole until you feel it get tacky. Start with a little; add as needed. Sometimes I rub a little on my skin, too, like the inside of my thighs if I’m doing a layout or the like. Also, if you’re really nervous doing a new move for the first time, you know how you might sweat where you are in contact with the pole? That can alter its results a little.

Can I use it on my legs to grip the pole?

Yea but it might grip to well and scratch your legs up with like a carpet burn situation
