Well worth it's money .Did not know how our Jack Russel would take to bring brushed but she did not bother.It is easy to clean and remove the hair.Not only did Penny benefit from a good brush but what comes of off her will be going outside for the wild birds to collect for nesting.Would well recommend this dog brush.

This little brush does exactly what it says it does. I purchased one last year for my daughter’s dog (a short-haired Staffs cross) another one a few days ago for my brother in law’s Jack Russell which has a wiry very thick coat. It works perfectly for both of them. The Jack Russell keeps coming back for more, she loves it so much. It’s well made, comfortable to hold, and the retractable brush design makes it so easy to clean.

Easy to Use! I’ve been using the Pecute Cat Brush for a few weeks now, and it’s made grooming my pets so much easier! The self-cleaning feature is fantastic—just press a button, and the hair is released from the bristles, which makes cleanup a breeze. The brush itself is gentle yet effective, and it works well on both my cat and dog, removing loose fur and tangles without causing any discomfort. The handle is comfortable to hold, and the design is ergonomic, making it easy to use for extended grooming sessions. My pets seem to enjoy the brushing too, so that’s always a good sign! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I noticed that after a few uses, some of the bristles have started to bend slightly, though they still work fine. Overall, it’s a great brush that makes grooming a lot more convenient and less messy. I would definitely recommend it for anyone with cats or dogs that shed a lot!

Our cat absolutely LOVES this brush! For a cat that was a stray for 5 years and finally found a home with us, this has been one of the best products that I could've bought him. Max purrs, chirps and belly rubs with his grooming session. The additional plus is that it collects all his excess fur which is easily collected and disposed of (instead of all over my bed). It's easy to hold, perfect size and does the job. Like a deep-tissue massage for cats. Sam is a medium-haired moggy and the brush is perfect for him.

A good brush BUT it doesn’t get deep enough into the undercoat. That my lovely dog sheds all over my house. He’s a long haired German shepherd. But for dogs with a more single coat then this brush would be great.

Makes grooming easier . It holds on to.the fur ready for you to operate the switch to remove it from the comb section . No more fur flying round the room . Seems sturdy enough , time will tell

this is the best brush ive used on my dogs and ive tried a few within 24 hours and 3 brushings the moulting fur was gone and so easy to remove from the brush seems sturdy and good value

Update: I am changing my score from 2 stars to 4 stars because the seller saw my review and provided a full refund, which is amazing customer service. I see they sell brushes with the design flaw fixed, so I will be purchasing one of those. I’ve been using the Pecute Slicker Dog Brush for about 8 months on my Golden Retriever, who has a long coat and sheds a lot. While the brush is great at detangling, removing loose hair, and is comfortable to use during grooming sessions (my dog absolutely loves it), I cannot recommend it due to a massive design flaw. The issue lies with the retractable bristle mechanism for hair removal. When you press the button, the bristles retract, but if they’re covered in hair, they don’t retract fully, meaning the hair doesn’t fall off as intended. Instead, I have to repeatedly press the button and still end up manually picking the hair off the brush. This makes the cleaning process frustrating and time-consuming. In comparison, my previous brush had a much better design where pressing the button moved a base over the bristles, pushing the hair off in one simple motion. Unfortunately, this brush’s design falls short in that regard. If you’re considering this product, I’d suggest looking at the other version shown in the images, which seems to have the better design. Avoid the retractable bristle version unless you’re okay with the hassle of cleaning it. While the brush performs well during grooming, the poor hair removal mechanism makes it a dealbreaker for me. I wouldn’t recommend this version of the brush.

Sur Sam (labrador), la brosse autonettoyante Pecute est surtout utile pour l’entretien régulier et les périodes de mue : en quelques minutes, elle récupère une bonne quantité de poils morts (et une partie du sous-poil), ce qui se voit tout de suite sur le tas de poils sorti. La poignée est confortable et le système “un clic” est vraiment pratique : la touffe se détache proprement, sans passer du temps à décoller les poils à la main. À noter : comme le labrador a un poil dense, mieux vaut brosser en plusieurs passages (sens du poil puis à rebrousse-poil léger), sans appuyer, et éviter les zones sensibles si Sam n’aime pas. Pour les nœuds (rare chez le labrador), ça ne remplace pas un peigne, mais pour la mue et l’entretien, c’est efficace. Bilan : bon outil simple pour limiter les poils dans la maison, facile à nettoyer, et adapté à un labrador si on brosse doucement et régulièrement.
