Rhinoceros Success : the Secret to Charging Full Speed Toward Every Opportunity Review: It wasn’t the easiest to read but - One of the standout aspects of the book is its structure, which provides a clear, step-by-step framework for changing habits—starting with identifying your current behaviors, creating cues, and making small adjustments that compound over time. It’s empowering to see how minor shifts in mindset and behavior can lead to lasting, positive change. For anyone looking to improve their life in a manageable and effective way, "Rhinoceros success" is a must-read. Clear’s straightforward and encouraging tone makes it an excellent resource for both beginners and those already familiar with habit-building strategies. Review: Funny, short and easy-to-read book - Remember back in January when you laid out your plans for the New Year? How are those plans coming? Ask yourself honestly, "How am I doing? What have I been able to do and what have I been procrastinating on?" This is a great books on this topic that offers tips and thoughts to keep you in motion. It is a funny, short and easy-to-read book that will inspire any action-oriented person to get moving! Scott Alexander has a creative approach to get you ready to charge forward into action! The author makes the premise that there are two kinds of people in the world, "Cows" and "Rhinos." You get to choose which one you'd like to be. Rhinos are the people who charge ahead and don't let things get them down. They get things done and see the possibilities even in adverse circumstances. Obstacles are merely hurdles to break through, not road blocks that immobilize. Now realistically, every rhino is going to have some "cow" days; the trick is to be a cow as little as possible, because rhinos simply get more done and are more successful. Cows have a different purpose altogether and are OK with mediocre, "good enough" and settling for living in fenced-in pastures, chewing their cud. Scott Alexander talks about reading a focus statement daily. He suggests: "I am a rhinoceros. I have a damn-the-torpedoes spirit! I am full of energy and I can't wait to get up in the morning to start charging!" Now, write your big picture goal and get moving! Success happens one step at a time, whether the goal is large or small. Whatever you do, do something, stay in action and keep moving forward.

Must have book!
After reading this book, you will be trying to get your hands on more copies to give to friends. Many top companies are now providing, or recommending, this book to their top staff members. In fact one high profile business owner has stated that, "I require our new people to read this book when they start working on my team." The book has been a life changer for multitudes of people such as Bear Grylls, whose mother gave him a copy of the book for his 10th birthday. He has made a point of re-reading it every year since. Bear went on to become the youngest Briton to climb Mount Everest, doing so at age 23. Today Bear Grylls is a best selling author, an international motivational speaker, and the host of the television series Man vs. Wild, known as Born Survivor in the United Kingdom. This is not a long book, and that`s intentional. In fact, you can read this book in one sitting. If you are serious about success, you should read this book on a regular basis. Its brevity and simplicity are its strength. The rhinoceros is used as an example throughout the book because they tolerate no natural predators in the animal kingdom. Not only are they covered with a thick skin, but they are the very definition of toughness and brute force and they are equipped with a deadly horn should it be needed. The author compares the rhino's attributes against the complacence of cows. If there is an animal to emulate greatness it's the rhino, not the cow. There are many - too many - books about success and motivation, but this one goes to the heart of the matter. This book should be in your library of success, and at the end of your tongue should a prospective employer ask about books you have read.

Not Groundbreaking, but humor makes up for it.
I enjoyed the book for the humor it added with a lot of the illustrations. I think it touches on a book to add some positivity to your life and doesn't teach too much about being better at business. It just tells you basic informatiom that you can likely find anywhere on the internet. Take charge of your life, your attitude and way of thinking determines how you see yourself, have a healthy life of exercise and eating well. It doesn't teach anything groundbreaking or enlightening, but I enjoyed the humor of it and understood from the foreword it wasn't your traditional business or leadership book. It was nice to have a book that is an easy read and providing a little humor at the same time. I'd still recommend it for the experience of reading it for the opportunity to read it.

Rhinoceros success shows what it means to have thick skin on your path to success.
Rhinoceros success is such a great book, written at a sixth grade level, everyone looking to understand the difference between successful minded people and average thinking, this is the perfect gift for any child or young adult to understand the difference your attitude makes in your path towards successful adulthood. Also, for any adult, this is also a very inspiring, entertaining and logical book to refresh your understanding of good versus evil or mindfully put, positive versus negative. We are who we hang around. Be careful who you listen to and take advice from. If they don't have what you want or live the way you want, find someone else to be your mentor! This book will help you understand this philosophy.

I recommend this book to anyone. It is funny, positive and uplifting. As far as motivational books go, surely this has to be one of the books that will make you want to make a change, as it's direction is clear and concise, although not everyone may agree with the social implications, especially if they are a member of the cow herd and not a Rhino.
