really loved the book. it is absolutely incredible. at first it was a bit slow to get into the book but the moment the war starts it is a fantastic tale of survival. I especially liked how it was told from two different viewpoint with there being two different characters one struggling for survival with the war and the other struggling for survival with having to walk hours on end for water. the fact that it is based on a true story which is explained at the end is also fantastic. really would recommend to read.

Libro fatto bene per una lettura da adolescenti

No wonder you read the book in 2 days - that's because it's only 4 and a half pages long including the invoice and covers. What an easy pyramid scheme to write a high school essay and publish it as a book to make some tom.

Here is the review from my 12 year old daughter- Honestly one of the best nonfiction books out there. With its gripping storyline, it really brought light to what people needed to remember- the Sudanese civil war- and served as a reminder to always remember the lives lost. It felt real- as though it was happening right in front of me. And the thing is- it was real. It was very real. And it happened right in front of many people- many whose lives were lost, who saw their family, their friends die, the survivors who still live on with the trauma. But we are humans, and humans can hope. We can heal. And we can help. This book is a masterpiece- no lies, just facts, just the plain, clear truth.

I read the book in two settings. Such a great story about southern Sudan and the story of two children from two different tribes in southern Sudan. The story describes difficulties about finding clean water in the village. There are hopes in the story and have a nice ending. Remember A step at a time One problem at a time just figure out this problem Keep walking
