Works extremely well. Be careful using this as it can really distort the door frame and or pop the skin welds. Also, please make sure you're not lifting the door into the fender while doing so. Please also know, this method doesn't really bend the hinges so much as it's really bending the door frame itself that abutting the hinges. I've used the 3.5' wonder bar in my body shop days but believe me, this works just as well to aid in door alignment. Actually, it's even a nicer application as the tool is contorted better in it's design and obviously storage is more convenient. Please know, I've been around the block a few times regarding, and this tool or at least this type of tool is really worth having even for just one use. Just tweak the door ever so slightly when you start using it as not to over bend the door. You'll soon learn how much leverage is needed and it's usually not all that much. Please know, the door can hang for several reasons but, if the hing pins and or bushings are worn, I'd replace them first then adjust the door. That's just me, though I'm certain some will use this as not to change the bushings and pins which is of course, another process requiring another tool set. So leave the floor jack, blocks of wood, and dolly's where they are and get this tool. Good luck!

ended up buying this as the junk the car manufactures produce is so light and flimsy now days the doors will only work for a short time with out needed adjustments to close or what ever, yes I have "adjusted" (bent) the hings with out a tool in the past but the control was not always there, this lets you control the "adjustment" your making. and the angle the door is open is much better for the hings when adjusting, so you do not over do or move thing out of alignment, I like the fact it will fit in the tool box, with the other door hing tools,

It works good for popping hinge pins in or out but not as effective as I would have liked for door striker adjustments could stand to be a bit slimmer for that.

I expected to have all sorts of issues trying to make this tool work. This tool worked perfectly, I had the door on my old pick-up adjusted in less than five minutes. Money well spent.

Ive got a door on a 71 Camaro RS that Ive been fighting for 5-6 hours. It would not line up on the backside. 30 seconds with this tool and the door is pulled up into place no problem. Body lines are prefect now. Didnt even read the included instructions.

New Tesla passenger door didn’t close nicely and after inspection noticed the door was low. This took about 5 minutes to adjust, working slowly. Has been great ever since.

Tool works but I found it a little awkward. With the proper latch pin in position in the latch the bar pivots away from the correct position when upward pressure is applied and tool can slip out of door latch unless it is held in position with a free hand. I have had a door adjusted by a local auto body shop before and there tool was far superior in ease of use and results. I am considering spending a little more money for a better tool.

Arrived well before the promised date. Product is exactly as described. Have used it several times on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Tool works great and has saved me a lot of money by not having to get a collision shop to keep making the adjustment. Well worth the investment and easy to use.
