Just has a really good feel to it when you are chopping through meat and bones. Perfect size for any kitchen chopping.

These are great knives for the money. I have a nice full set that should last a couple lifetimes. The pro lines have the nicer warranties too, make sure you check this with other brands and how hard it is to make claims. This is one of the things youre paying for! This cleaver itself is great, I have actually moved off using my butcher and santoku knives and just use this. Since this holds a great edge and has a lot of weight, makes it so easy to get nice cuts (cooked and raw). I am curious if I would have liked the larger one though, I have rather large hands and dont think it would be too much! This works fine, but more weigh means more better right?? ;p

Again - yet another Zwilling Pro which seem to be the perfect cleaver for chopping through rib bones, very well ergonomically balanced - easy to comfortably and confidently hold even when chopping hard and fast through some of the toughest cuts with bones. Holds a sharp edge after repeated using. As with all Zwilling Twin Pro (which is different than Zwilling Twin Professional) fairly pricey, but these cleavers should last a couple of lifetimes - will them to your grandkids! As with other Zwilling Pro series, they are "dishwasher safe", but the dishwasher will discolor the rivets on the handle, so you're better off hand washing (which gives you a good opportunity to inspect the edge and see if you need to steel the edge). It's got a beautiful finish, a very nice cleaver even though it's an expensive once-in-a-lifetime purchase it's very well worth it.

Heavy, thick, finely balanced, seriously crafted weapon to win battles with bone and flesh on your kitchen chopping block. Meat, cartilage, gristle, and probably bone, are no match for this precision-tuned culinary implement of dismemberment. Have no plans to hack whole chickens in half? Or to divide hips and ribs from the spine of a cow? Then don't waste your money on this premium kitchen tool, even though it's worth every single penny. If vegetables are the toughest food you are up against then consider the ZWILLING Twin Signature Knife, 7'', Black/Stainless Steel. Also pricey. Also worth the money. Also perfectly suited to the kitchen task. Meat cleavers are not safe to operate while drunk, taking prescription medications that make you drowsy, or if easily distracted. Surgical sutures (for reattaching fingers) sold separately.
