I only add to water with the plastic spoon that comes with the vitamin. Also do remember to level it out on the spoon/even it out on the spoon.

Is this product safe for Eclectus? My newly adopted eclectus has a plucking problem.

Nekton is a respectable product and would clearly label any precautions for specific species of birds. Plucking is a complex problem that isn't likely to be helped by one single supplement. Best to provide your bird with a stimulating environment and lots of love and interaction. What this product does is provide some of the necessary nutrients to help grown new feathers; and it does that quite well.

What are the 18 amino acids? I see the listing for the trace elements and minerals, but no amino acids.
