Q: What kind of material is this made of?

They are made out of the same cheap material that the cheap seat covers are made out of that you can buy at your local Wal-Mart only difference between them is the back and bottom are separated pieces so they fit better and last longer then the one piece ones you get at Wal-Mart hope this helps.

Q: Does the seat cover interfere with the seat controls located on the the side of the seat?

They do not. I have always kept seat covers on my car seats to keep them like new. Most of them have fit poorly or are almost impossible to get on. I am so pleased with how well these fit and how easy they were to put on. If a 69 yr old woman can put them on, anyone can. They look nice, fit well and do not interfere with the seat controls.

Q: Can you "slide" in or does the cover grab?

The cover somewhat grabs/slides it's in between. Hopefully that helps. I have leather under mine so the cover slides on the seat.

Q: Will this fit Honda pilot sport 2023 ?

Fits our Chevy Silverado 3500. Should fit your Pilot.
