Tiffen 49GG1 49mm Glimmer Glass 1 Filter

Absolute top draw for the money. It gives you an authentic, in camera (reduces post), cinematic look without compromise. Of course, Pro Mist filters can be great but all too often they create a 1970's soap opera dream sequence look. Those in the know use these over the more popular Black Pro Mist filters. Final note: when my Amazon parcel arrived it contained Cold Sore Cream - NOT the filter I'd ordered. I've had this happen with 2 x camera lenses and a laptop over the past few years (boxes filled with cat food). Amazon always make good but this needs to be sorted.

I love the Glimmer glass filters, this is a good strength to soften highlights without it being too much. I use this for pretty much all my commercial video shoots.

Undecided wether to get a glimmerglass 1 52mm or promist. After realising the I still wanted a bit of contrast in my images but still with perfect blooming highlights, the glimmerglass proved to be the best fit.

Love this filter. Makes amazing blooming with lights. I like it way more than my Moment Cinebloom filter. Currently using it in Japan and it’s great. Beware though that buying through Amazon can be a hit or miss. First one I ordered was broken (like the glass wasn’t attached to the frame). Second one was good though.

Ho utilizzato il filtro per una sessione di ritratto e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. L'effetto blooming sulle alte luci è molto delicato e non dà l'impressione che si stia usando un filtro tipo il black mist o simili che sono molto invasivi. "Mescola" i toni della pelle dei soggetti direttamente in camera rendendo la pelle più uniforme. Inoltre smorza il carattere di lenti moderne "perfette" introducendo quel feeling delle lenti più vecchie ma senza pregiudicare la nitidezza che rimane a eccellenti livelli

160€ pour un seul filtre de diffusion... Pour un simple photographe ou vidéaste amateur c'est forcément un pas difficile à franchir et à justifier. Mais ce filtre réussi là où la majorité des autres filtres de diffusion échouent : Apporter une belle diffusion des sources de lumières directes sans impacter la netteté, ni vraiment le contraste des éléments de premier plan. Il apporte juste la touche de caractère à la fois majeur et subtile que l'on recherche tout en restant totalement maitrisé.
