Dinotopia, First Flight: 20th Anniversary Edition (Calla Editions)

Was just the item I was looking for as a gift for a family member who has some of the other books. Beautiful illustrations.

Bought this for my 5-year old and she absolutely loved it. We've read the other two Dinotopia books before and this one didn't disappoint.

Helps complete the Dinotopia series in Our home. We love the illustrations.

I had all of the other book in this series except this one. I'm so happy I found it in a new condition. The pictures are really artworks. I wish they reprint the posters too.

The art is so beautiful, I bought this for myself a grown adult and loved it so much. Probably the easiest of the Dinotopia books to read and understand for a young child as the context is the simplest. Beautiful art and a wonderful fantasy world for anyone to enjoy. My Dinotopia collection is complete.

Love the Dinotopia series. Such a fantastic story. Pictures are awesome! Thick glossy full color pages immerse you into another world. Detail is awesome. My children grew up on these stories. Wish we could go there.

I bought this fourth book for the artwork/dinosaurs only. No real interest in the story though it could be more? It is simple happy fantasy for kids. I think there is a shift in the quality of work, although still good, just not quite the same as previous 3.

I bought this book for my son as a gift. I read this before I gave it to him. I love James Gurney's Dinotopia series. This book was a collection of stories that happened before Arthur Denney and his son landed in Dinotopia. It was not my favorite of his books on Dinotopia, but I will take any stories I can get as I do really enjoy that fantasy series.

Come gli altri libri della serie è scritto in un inglese molto semplice e adatto anche a chi lo parla o lo capisce poco(ovviamente parlo per gli adulti). Se letto con i bambini può essere sia istruttivo che molto coinvolgente. I disegni sono fantastici, da avere insieme a tutti gli altri libri.

Eines vorweg: Diese Bücher haben mit der gleichnamigen Mini-Serie mit David Thewlis nur bedingt zu tun, da die TV-Serie weniger eine Adaption der Bücher, sondern mehr dessen Fortsetzung ist. Dafür bekommt man hier also eine neue Geschichte mit neuen Figuren in der wunderschön gestalteten Welt von Dinotpia.
