Can I burn these in my indoor fireplace like old stax logs?

Our Duraflame OUTDOOR Firelogs are very similar to Stax (same size and shape), but have the new added ability to roast campfire foods over, such as marshmallows. The new outdoor logs can be used like Stax in an indoor open-hearth fireplace and we have included instructions for this use on the inside log packages.

Do they make crackle sound?

No not really. The flame is nice and lasts at least 2 hours. Be careful in a fire pit one log is usually enough. 3 logs is a blaze.

How long do 2 logs burn when using in backyard?

Two OUTDOOR Firelogs will burn for up to 2 hours in a fire pit.

how many logs per box?

For this particular box, it is six firelogs. Start with two firelogs in an X formation. Please follow packaging directions.
