You might not be able to install the program. If the program is old enough, windows may not support it. (32-bit windows will have no problem. 64-bit windows won't run 16-bit windows apps.) This of course also depends on if the disks are still readable as well.

Doesnt Work with Win11 *updated review*

Wont read any floppy disks. * updates, originally, I went right for blaming this product, but it wasn't its fault. I was trying to perform a task this wasn't designed for. Notes: PC 3.5-inch HD floppies (1.44 MB) use MFM encoding, 512-byte sectors, 2:1 interleave, and 300 RPM rotation standardized for MS-DOS/Windows. Apple IIGS 800K disks employ GCR encoding (more efficient but proprietary), 512-byte logical sectors with 4:1 interleave, variable rotation speeds (zoned), and unique track headers/sync patterns. I wanted to create floppy disks for the Apple machine, but didn't stop and think before I acted, and physical hardware limitations are what got in my way. This device works great for MFM but not GCR. That was my mistake.
