I measured and its about 2 inches too long for where I want it, do you think there would be any problem cutting this material?

I think it would fray on the edge that you cut it on if you cut it. You may be able to stop the fraying if you singe the edge. Let me know if you have anymore questions - Ian

I've got a Corsair K95, would it fit here with good space for my mouse to move around?

it will because you will have a space more than you'll need. I'm using k70 atm there is still plenty of space left. I can even put a medium size dish next to my keyboard. So your k95 would fit easily

Yes, just wash it in your shower. Use soap and water, don't be to aggressive though, if you are, you could rip the sides.

Does the M200 have any problems with fray?

I've only had it a few months but I'm not seeing any fray. It does have a visible discolored wear spot (not seeing any physical damage) already and the computer only sees about 4hr/day of use (gaming and other).
