I am making this review as clear and as honest as possible. Some reviewers have mentioned that it is hard to work with. This is true. It is after all wax that you can mold but it takes time and effort to use. I love it because It can be made amazingly thing then hardens after and stays in a shape. It has a great smell and brilliant colors It takes very little to make an object. It works well for kids with sensory issues. I have family with sensory and it really helped them out. It keeps shape well It does not turn into a messy brown ball of color when mixed. Over all I really like this product for the effort it takes to work it and think it is a great product. Those who are not looking for a material that is not hard to work with should consider another product or natural clay. Here are some important things to remember if you are considering getting this and are not sure if it is for you. It is hard to mold(they suggest dipping it in warm water to help speed up process) It can break if too thin. It does collect hair or lint but mostly when it is still warm. Colors take some effort to stick together. It is not good for big projects It is not good for those who do not have time or patience I would avoid leaving it out in a very hot place Some tricks I have learned in using it. Use the warm water as they suggested to make it more workable press firmly when adding colors to something. Make sure it is warmed enough to help it stick better. I hope this was helpful I still give the product 5 stars because it works really well for what I and my family needed.

We love this. We homeschool using Oak Meadow and got this to use alongside our curriculum. It sits in a little jar on the table so anyone can grab and play with it. It has a really calming honey beeswax smell, and once it's warm feels so lovely in your hands. My son likes to play with it when I read him stories. We also use it to form letters and varying shapes. I find when we're doing work together I like to play with a small bit, it's a lovely thing to fidget with. We have clay also, but this is nicer as it doesn't really leave much of a residue on your hands, and stays warm and lovely to touch as you use it. It's not messy the way clay is, either. Clay is great and has it's many uses, but this beeswax is really great to have on hand to easily pick up and use, and then put down again without all the clean up and bother of clay. This is something I'll be making sure we always have on hand. I also love it's golden orange colour :)

This stuff is fantastic! The smell is a super sweet earthy beeswax smell and the colors are incredibly rich! I bought this for my oldest who is 2.5 as a stocking stuffer for Christmas! I wanted to get her something that she could fiddle with and I wouldn't have to worry about her making a huge mess! This certainly isn't a replacement for something like art dough but it definitely has a place in our art corner! Some tips I have found is to cut one piece into 2-4 smaller pieces which make it much easier for little hands to warm up. It takes a minute or two to actually become pliable but once it does it can be molded or stretched into just about anything! For younger kids I wouldn't recommend trying to get them to mold intricate little things yet, and just let them focus on stretching it out or balling it up so that way they don't get frustrated with it and they get to enjoy the sensation of it warming and becoming soft and pliable. If you are using this with more then one child you could boil some water and then let it cool for a second and then let the wax sit in the hot water for a minute or two and it warms up in no time!

After looking at this beeswax for several months I finally went ahead and splurged on it. It's great stuff, my four and five year olds really enjoy it. It doesn't have any of the mess involved with play doh or modeling clay. The color doesn't come off on anything and it doesn't crumble. The sheets are larger than I thought they would be, the box they come in is about 5"x5"x1.5". One quarter to one third of a sheet is plenty. It can be used over and over again before it starts to get an off feel to it. The kids are able to use the same small piece every day for a week or so before needing a new piece. The used wax can then be used to decorate the outside of plain candles so it doesn't go to waste. The wax itself is a bit more pliable than candle wax at room temperature. It needs to be held for a minute or two before using. I have the kids take their piece and hold it in their hands while I tell them a short story, the story time part of it is nice and has them asking to hear a story all the time now. I had been holding off on ordering because of the hot summer but I don't think I needed to. I had thought it might arrive a melted mess but even on a 90 degree day it arrived very warm and soft but after sitting at room temperature for a couple hours it was very firm. We've even put it in the fridge to firm it back up when needed then continued to play with it so I don't think ordering during the winter would be a problem either. I'm sure we will order more of it eventually but this box should last for months.

Well worth the price! Warms up with your hands, eventually allowing yourself or a child to create wonderful memories and experiences. The beautiful vibrant colors always help with new creations! My grandson really likes playing with his creations. I keep it all sealed on a glass bowl with a tight cover. Highly recommended! 💙

I really hate to give this a 3 star review. I really wanted to like this. But it’s just to hard and it takes too much effort to warm up and even warmed up it’s too difficult for the kids in my Waldorf inspired Daycare to play with. I feel Blasphemous not liking this being hugely Waldorf inspired but i just didn’t. I LOVE the smell of it. I do think leaving in your bra for 10 min seems to make it warm up the best. I think my kids are just too young for this- I think this is good for school age kids

When you first open the box the little blocks of colorful wax are very pleasurable to look at and the faint aroma of honey is nice too. When I first picked them up I wondered how on earth I was supposed to sculpt with the stuff because it was very stiff. But after a minute or two of warming up in my hand the modeling clay started to take shape easily and I had a lot of fun creating little sculptures with the stuff. Once it cooled it became stiff again and kept its shape perfectly. I would recommend this for children and adults. Once you have manipulated it does not go back to the original shape and fit neatly into the box between nice layers of wax paper, but that is how it goes. I have already ordered more and enthusiastically recommended it to my friends. I sculpted a snail using the wax for an animation that I am doing (see attached). I love how translucent it is.
