No, Softsoap is owned by Colgate Palmolive, which is NOT a cruelty free company. They test on animals or have a third party company test for them. They also sell their products in China, which requires animal testing.

Do you have a smell description on it please? ( for example…ginger and vanilla with hint of floral..)

It's hard to describe the smell of this one. But I can tell you this - I wish I could find a perfume that smells exactly like it. Of course, this is just my opinion. But this is one of the best scents Softsoap has come up with. It's light, almost musky, and not too flowery. The first time I ever smelled it, I fell in love.
