PLEO (japan import) by Ugobe

This is a totally outdated product. Please do not buy this as now they have a technically improved one ( as I saw in their web page which is called pleo RB) . We bought this product last month ( February ) without knowing that there is a new version of this product as it was not mentioned in this web page. My son was begging for one after seeing it in youtube and finally imagreed though it cost over my budget. After two days of receiving the product , the battery stopped charging, which seems to be an inbuilt problem of this type of batteries ( i google for the details of the battery). since it is difficult to air batteries , returning the battery is also a problem. Returning the product also costs a lot as the package is big. So I am stuck with a malfunctioning robot Dino.

I had purchased two of the PLEO RB. Dinosaurs a year or more ago and they are still working amazingly. The dinosaurs actually interact with our other real pets and everywhere we bring them people are amazed at the complexity. However one person who wrote a comment in here had a point. The old pleo which is just called pleo had some flaws. I never had the old one. But they improved this new one in every way
