Great fun for all the kids
We just received these in the mail yesterday, and everyone loves them. I specifically bought these for my 1 year old, but my 10, 8, 6, and 4 year old are enjoying them as well. I wasn't sure how well they would stick to the tub, because the suction cup is so stiff, and I have had problems getting other suction cups to stick and STAY stuck in our tub. These ones hold REALLY well! The kids actually had to slide the gears over to an edge to break the suction on these. They also do spin well when you pour water over them.We bought these along with Munchkin Caterpillar Spillers Stacking Cups, 1 Set for the tub. We had some soft squirty toys in the tub, but after reading about mold inside of bath toys, I decided to get rid of those ones. Between the gears and the stacking cups, the kids won't miss the squirty toys at all.

Worked great for my purpose.
These were not used as children’s bath toys, but they worked beautifully for my purpose. I created a scavenger hunt for my high school students. I drew arrows on two of the cogs, and they could turn one for the clue and the arrow would point to the answer. It worked perfectly for that!In terms of a child’s bath toy, I’ll give my best information. It stuck VERY well to my whiteboard, so I imagine it would stick well to a clean shower wall. My students were spinning them with their hands, and they moved freely, but based on the shape of the gear that is designed to hold water and move, I understand the primary complaint of it not working well for that purpose. I think it would be wonderful for a busy board for little ones, but probably not ideal for its intended purpose.

Great gift for children
My 3 year old grandson absolutely loves these toys. He has them in the tub, on the window, on the bathroom mirror and on the sliding glass door. It is perfect for entertaining him on long rides when it is stuck to the car window. He is autistic and loves them! I wish the suction was better because they frequently fall off, especially the biggest one.

Great toy for bathtime
My one year old loves these bath toys, and I love them too because they stick to the tub so well! No need to pick up and try to dry bath toys that float in the water. He loves to spin the gears, or pour water from a cup onto them to make them spin. These are really good quality and cute colors, too. Would make an excellent baby shower or 1st birthday gift.

Designed to be removed after every bath
By way of warning, these cogs won’t spin when pouring water on the designated cog unless they are spaced *perfectly.* If any of the five cogs overlap too much, none will spin; it any are slightly too far apart (even with the teeth overlapping), the spinning will stop at the cog that needs to be a little closer. As a result, it has taken me a good five minutes of placing, testing, and re-spacing the cogs in advance of our kids getting in the bath to make sure they work as designed. The reason this matters is because the instructions indicate that all of the cogs should be removed and cleaned after each use. So ultimately you’re talking about a daily 10-minute time investment, which I’ve found to be more time than our kids are engaged by the cogs (and which I expect to continue to diminish as the novelty wears off). The cleaning appears necessary because the cogs are hollow in the back; I would have gladly paid a little more for the manufacturer to use a little more plastic to make solid cogs that wouldn’t require daily maintenance.

Lots of fun for bath time!
These are great fun for the tub. Kid likes them so much that kid doesn't want to be done with bath, which is kind of a good problem. Even parents have fun playing with these. These were bigger than I thought, but that's great for small hands. I'm a little worried about them growing mold/mildew after a while, but we make sure to shake them out well and put them in a mesh holder to dry. They should be scrubbed with hot soapy water and soaked in a vinegar solution periodically.

Lots of entertainment for my 1 year old
My 14 month old (and 31 year old husband) love these gears. They suction really well to the sides of the tub and have a little pull tab so it’s easy to get off. My 14 mo can’t pull them off on his own unless he breaks the suction using his fingers- but that takes a lot of determination. The gears all fit together really easily and spin in unison easily. When my son takes showers, we stick them to the glass door and he loves that, too. They won’t stick on tile, but also will work on a stainless steel fridge- they definitely don’t have to be limited to the bath!
