what is the shelf life of a closed and opened tube? Is the shelf life based on the production date & if so where is the date?

The numbers are on the very bottom of the tube on the crimped end. There are numbers on both sides, however the numbers are not in standard date form. Front side of mine says 200221, and the back side 12557-002. These numbers mean nothing to me I can only guess. If it smells Ok when you open it, I say Ok use it and don't worry. I don't see any complaints about bad product or out of date on Amazon. BTW This product is fantastic.

The smell is minty, right? One person said the smell wares off and a funky kind of odor remaines. Is there truth to that?

It has a faint and crisp minty smell at first and then it just wears off and smells like your natural odor ... Which in their case may be kinda funky ;) I love this aftershave and it has been my favorite for years

Can i use on my legs?

Yes! Initially I got this for my husband and he loved it. So I used it one night and it just takes a small amount to go a long way. I love it and use it every time I shave.

have any women tried it on their legs?

If that would be the case. Would the chemicals tell on her? Honestly there would be no difference.
