Reliable Algae Wafers That My Bottom Feeders Actually Eat
API Algae Eater Wafers have worked pretty well in my setup. They sink fast, hold together long enough for my bottom feeders to graze, and my fish take to them quickly. I like that they’re not just cheap filler; there’s a decent mix of plant ingredients and protein so I feel okay using them as a regular food. The only real downside I’ve seen is that if I drop in too many, the leftovers start to mess with the water, so I’ve learned to break the wafers up and feed lightly. Overall, I’m satisfied with them and would keep using them, as long as I manage the portions.
