Este pequeño pero pesado pedal es sorprendentemente versátil. Dependiendo de la configuración, se puede usar el ProCo RAT 2 como dirty boost, overdrive, distorsión, o incluso Fuzz. El sonido que produce es robusto y con buen sustain. En cuanto al pedal, las letras tienen una impresión que a mi gusto parece demasiado económica. Sin embargo, la construcción es sólida: la carcasa, los controles y demás componentes se perciben de alta calidad. La luz LED indicadora es muy potente. Además, de acuerdo con la información del fabricante, su consumo de energía es bastante eficiente: 0.6 mA inactivo y 1.6 mA encendido; esto es más bajo que otros pedales modernos y resulta muy conveniente para quienes preferimos usar pedales con baterías. En conclusión, considero que vale la pena cada centavo invertido.

Ich habe eine Fender Jazzmaster (Vintera) und dazu nun diese Pro Co Rat 2, die schnell kam und für 85€ voll günstig. Mit 1/3 Distortion und 1/6 Filter (also fast ganz links) habe ich nun den NOFX Sound täuschend echt! I'M A RAT! Echt guter Sound! Wirst kein besseres Pedal finden, wirst du nicht, no, never.
