Worked for my application
Worked for my application of adapting a AKM dust cover to use a peep sight on the rear of the dust cover. Drilled and tapped the dust cover and the sight zeroed with little adjustment required.

Good dight with a minor flaw
Good sight. I mounted this on my 45-70 in place of the Williams sight that came with it mounted on the barrel. The peep is easy to see through and as quick as the original notch type rear sight. The only thing that bothered me was the fit to the barrel. This sight screws down to the scope base at the rear or the receiver. the sight radius doesn't match the larger radius of the chamber. It fits the barrel where the factory sight goes. There is a small gap you can see light through. It does not fit where the original sight was die to the screw hole spacing being different. This isn't a huge deal and the sight works perfectly.

It worked very well and I think it will last a lifetime.
Excellent. It was as described. However, I did have to install a taller front sight but it may be due to the caliber (45-70) or just my individual rifle. I do not hold it against Williams as I have this sight for both a Remington 700 and a 7600. Neither of those required a new front sight.
