Good look on any build, repair or simple connection
I am now using this type of screw on most of my woodworking projects along with the corresponding "insert nut". Flatheads give them a clean attachment as opposed to round head screws. I have them in sizes ranging from 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1", 1.25", 1.50" inch. For strength, I found that having the "insert nut" used in reverse makes the connection much tighter and stronger.

Fit and finish is good
I got the 3/8-16x3 FHCS in 304 SS. the fit & finish seem good. Corrosion resistance and actual strength have not been tested yet.

It is exactly what it says it is. Good quality bolts that I am using for limb bolts on the Samick Sage and its clones for me and friends. Exact same length, and bolt threads. Works perfectly and is more nicely finished than the originals. Much cheaper than buying the limb bolts from archery suppliers. I got 10 bolts for less than the price of 2.

There is no way this is 401 stainless. The Allen Socket Drive isn’t deep enough and strip so easily that your throwing out half of them. I even had two break in half putting in blind nuts in plywood. Back they go because I’d be throwing half of them out
