the refills for my pen are good.

In the product description it is clearly mentioned that the cartridges are filled with the waterproof ink. I am an urban sketcher, I used this cartridge for sketching. While using water colours the ink dissolved in the colour and spoilt the whole sketch. Don't purchase if you need waterproof ink though Amazon mention it in the description.
