Great product with most every item you need for a lost cost door or gate entry system. This was a renewed or open box item and all parts were present. I purchased this product to replace almost the same unit that as gifted to me. The system lasted me for years with most of the parts exposed to the elements. The reason I purchased the whole system was mainly to replace the keypad which on my older unit had delaminated. if placed in a plastic housing would have lasted longer. I recommend mounting your power supply in a waterproof or resistant enclosure as well as mounting the keypad in a semi-enclosed housing. I would definitely buy this product again. The only things you will need is wiring for the components and power or an electrical plug for the power supply and wire nuts. Instruction are included.

This is. A great item. Simple and cost effective. The directions are a little confusing for those who don't know wireing. But it's a simple Install. Easy programming and operation. Now here are a few things that may help you. If the power fails or you have to take the system off for any reason the programming is not lost. It is programmed until you change it. With this system it keeps the lock (magnetic lock) on all the time. If the power fails it releases. The term fail unsecure is what this is called. But if you have this system wired to a plug and get a ups battery back up or a battery back up kit it will keep it secure. I have ordered 5 of these and many others and this is one of the better ones for the pricing and operation. Worth the money. You can change the type of lock used to secure the door and even add a wireless remote to this system. I recommend this item and seller.

Great magnet lock I am the first in my street with this kind of security lock The RFID make it hi tech I cover the num pad with a wooden box for weather and hidden reason and the RFID still works tru the wood cover. It's low voltage magnet so I am cool with that The power module has more connections for ad ons like a lock with solenoid or fail safe locks The downside of magnet lock if the power fails the magnet won't work I will suggest a battery backup. One tip if is to complicated to install just connect that bare power module and the magnet lock and ad a wifi power outlet and the lock can Be controlled via app example A GE wifi outlet you can share the control with family but you will be the administrator.

I had to make my own brackets to install this on an inswing door. Didn't know I'd need to pay so much for brackets when this was so cheap. No rubber gasket for Plate either, I used plexiglass between it and bracket, and multiple O-rings on bolt. Finally locked after I got it right, as its not in instructions. No bell/buzzer built in as see in videos, no how to correctly on it. run 12V to a bell lead, other bell lead to bell/buzzer, then buzzer/bell back to ground. have fun figuring out a secondary push button exit switch. Wiring instructions are different for lock and controller and power source, a different from seller to seller on same item. Buy a secure coverv for power supply as all wiring is external on its edge with terminals. Easy to be tampered with if you don't enclose it. Keypad isn't waterproof, found out after fact. So go ahead and purchase the cover. Once you figure it all out it works damn well. Only have one code though which is falsey claimed as more. wish there was a Log also, just watch camera if you have issues I suppose. All in all, would definitely buy another agsin or for my house. Just a better controller that's metal and waterproof.

It's a great starter kit at a bargain price. This was my first experience with electromagnetic door locks. The instructions are pretty good, and the steps pretty straight forward but with no screen programming is strictly on the keypad using their flow chart. MY ONLY GRIPE is that the RFID sensor is NOT where its indicated on the control panel. It is in fact right above the #2 on the keypad. Poor labeling, but functionality it still works. Not enough to take a full star off. Additionally, the only thing the kit is missing to make it code compliant is the REX (request to exit) sensor. I added one of these mounted to the wall above my setup and it's triggered the same way the button push is. The included power supply is also enough to run the Rex which made installation easy. My advise is setup the whole system on a work bench and test it all out first. To best optimize cable runs and lengths. I used a spool of alarm wire and it works great. I added a second push to exit button under the reception desk to allow people to be buzzed in. For the price it's a great setup. I would recommend it and use it again in a future project.
