Well-Loved Tales: Cinderella

I bought this as a gift for my mum who briefly mentioned it was her favorite childhood book and her wedding dress was inspired by Cinderellas dress! So I thought it would be a good idea to get for a small gift for Christmas. She mentioned the blue cover and I was worried it would come without the sleeve but it was perfect! Great quality and exactly as described. Couldn’t be happier and I hope my mum enjoys getting reunited with her favourite childhood book:)

First they brought back Ladybirds as modern satire, then they brought them in as the 'Expert' series (both aimed at adults). Now they have realized that the adults buying the satire and new history/science series are the same people that loved, once upon a time, the children's stories. I adored Cinderella by Vera South, with the enchanting illustrations, when I was about five. Fifty years later, I bought the book again: new as the day my parents bought it for me then! Wonderful quality, just like the original.

Cinderella was always my favourite book as a child I always remembered the vivid colours of her beautiful dresses. I still have the original worn out version from when I was little some 50+ years ago. So now I am thrilled to have a fresh new copy.

I was the very first book I remember from my childhood. When my parents Divorced my book was lost. So when I found it on Amazon.. I cried. I have it on bedside table. I see it every night.
