KMC Z410NP Connect Link, 1/8-Inch

My daughter’s bike would no longer switch gears properly so I removed the rear derail mechanism and jockey wheel and converted it to a single gear bike instead of junking it. To accomplish this, the chain needed to be shortened so I cut it to the correct length and used this connector link to complete the chain, tightened everything up and it worked like a charm. The connection was strong and it held together perfectly. The bike has since been retired but the chain remains intact and the link never broke. If you know what this is and you need one, this will do the job.

Not much to say about this. It is for a specific job and it does it well.

I needed to link a new chain for my bike. This easily installed and has been under fairly high stress since I installed my chain. There has been no cracking or stretching of the link. The pins do not shift. It is still as sturdy as the first day I installed the link.

Once placed on a single speed KMC chain it looked exactly like the rest of the links. They only way to tell that it is the master link is to view it from the side with the clip. Arrived in a baggy and not in some retail package but given the look feel on a real KMC chain I'm pretty sure it's 100% real KMC.

Did not measure but took a chance that this link would fit. It's for a single speed chain they are larger than some multi speed chains. This was actually used to repair a lopping pole that was missing the link. Great purchase.

Great product, chrome plating matched my chain. I used it on my fixed gear bike build. Looks great.

Liked the design and 1.00 $ value. Did not like the price when I tried to reorder at 20.00 a piece. Some charged 54.00 $ for the same item.
