Excellent product. While I see, and agree, that this product is maybe 10-15% overpriced for what it is; its really made well and is well designed and engineered for years of use. One thing I did find special was the flag itself is also the storage pouch for the light & mast. Simple but clever. Sets up i seconds, light works well and either use it in a pole holder or comes with a track mount fitting. Overall very pleased, would recommend it to other, and If I lost it, I'd buy it again. Lastly, this product while sturdy is very light and wouldn't add any significant weight to loading up gear on your Kayak or Canoe.

I held off on buying this beacuse it seemed like a high price tag for the required 360 light in bass fishing tournaments. Finally in desperation 2 days prior to the event, i pulled the trigger, and ive gotta say, its a handy little kit.It breaks down, its waterproof (I think? mine took a dunk and was fine) oh and it floats too...I took a picture of the kayaks lineup before a fishing tournament and this is clearly the favorite of the field. Splurge and get it. Youll appreciate it, and it will serve you better than that DIY idea you've been considering that you saw on Youtube.As for the price.....as they say,.... "Its better to cry once."I wish i hadn't held off for so long.

Mount much studier than before. One piece design perfect for towing with flag up

I like the design of this 360 light, and use it on my kayak when I'm out before or after daylight. I like that the flag doubles as the bag to put it back into. The pole is lightweight, but sturdy; very similar to tent poles.I did run into an issue after only 1 use. One of the small bungee cords that holds the flag to the pole came apart from the plastic clasp which made it no longer hold the flag. Luckily I found a pair of bungee shoe strings (with similar clasp system) that I was able to use to replace the broken bungee and clasp.I do think this product is a bit overpriced for what it is, but there are not a lot of other options besides a DIY 360 light.Yakattack is my go to kayak fishing accessories brand, and this is the only one I've had any issue with.

Unless your kayak is bright orange I would say this is a great investment. The AA battery option for a pretty bright LED is a nice addition to evening fishing and the very noticeable flag is obviously a plus. Easy to break it down and store away in the flag pocket. All around solid purchase

Identical to the Hobie safety flag except for the flag logo, but without the $5 shipping fee and within pennies of the same price. In addition to a flag, most states require a 360 degree light at and after dusk so just a flag might not be sufficient. It folders compactly and stows nicely. I've had the Hobie version for years and it has held up well, this is for a second kayak. Fits perfectly where the Hobie rod holder would go. The lighted version is pricey. But the extra cost is worth the price if it makes the difference in NOT being run over by a speeding power boat. Another reason my yaks are a bright yellow.

Bought this to be more visible on large body’s of water. I fish in big lakes where boaters are always around. This flag is really nice, bright light and I love that it breaks down into a 2 piece so you can store and makes it easy for transport.
