Can you use both ethernet ports at the exact same time?

Depends on your ISP. The company I work for gives you 2 public IP addresses and you can get any combo of 2 computers, 1 computer and one router or 2 routers. You WILL NOT however get full speed on both at the same time but not half either. The modems we use now have only one ethernet port but if you hook up a simple switch you get both IPs through it. But ONLY 2.

Will this support xfinity extreme 1200mbps ? it's not on the supported device list.

The Arris S33 is a DOCIS 3.1 capable device 32 x 8 rated for speeds up to 2.5 Gb. While the modem is indeed on Xfinity supported device list (check detailed discussions on dslreports.com), what matters is your router. Ensure you have a router capable of 1+Gb speeds.

Does this modem support snmp?

NO. I wish that wasn't the case, but we have no SNMP access. No Arris home modems support user facing SNMP. The cable provider has management, but SNMP isn't exposed to the home network. From Arris: "SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) is not supported in Motorola Home Networking products. SNMP is included in Motorola Cable Modem and Home Gateway products, but it is intended for use only by the Cable Provider. There is no direct access to SNMP MIBs for the end-user."

Is one port for the router and the other port can be used for hardwiring a device (computer, etc) directly to modem?

The second port can only be used if connected to a separate/different IP. In other words, your ISP will have to give you 2 separate IPs. in order to use the second port.
