Celestron 21024-ACC FirstScope Accessory Kit, Black

I really like this accessory kit. It competes my new telescope. It didn't have the mounting nuts, but they were included with the telescope, so it is ok. The finder scope is necessary, and the moon filter is nice to have. The additoonal lenses are icing on the cake.

Great kit

I bought this for my son's Firstscope and it has been very helpful for looking at objects in the sky that are not the moon. It did take a bit of time getting it set up the first time we used it, but now it is easier for us to use and it works great! I am definitely glad I purchased this!

It is a versatile kit because it brings what you need to complete your Celestron 76mm "Firstscope" telescope. It works for many other telescopes and other brands. The viewfinder it brings; of lenses and hair cross, it seems to me much better than those that make today because it is the traditional one and of excellent sharpness (those that offer today are those red dot viewfinders that do not correctly show the object to search for). Today, many telescopes come incomplete (Previously, all brands of telescopes came with everything necessary to observe the sky. Nowadays, several things have to be bought separately), but hey ..., it is a very well presented kit , in a fine box and maintains a good quality for the price it has. I recommend this purchase.

Although my (Celestron COSMOS FirstScope) telescope came with a finderscope, I am happy to have a couple of more eyepieces giving me a better (more detailed) view of the planets. Okay, not a lot since I am using a very basic telescope. Also, having the moon filter has made a big difference in seeing the craters and more details of the surface of the moon. Plus, the information on the CD has been helpful for a novice as myself. Overall, for the small price, I am very happy to have these accessories available for "star gazing" for many years to come.

I liked the extra lenses and the scope for this product. The cd that came with it however was blank. The first time I put it in and there was nothing. Tried another computer and same thing...nothing. I looked at the disc and saw that there was no data written on it. I did find the software online to download but it was a bit of a hassle. Overall the lenses and scope worked great but the blank cd really bugged me since that was pretty much why I bought the kit.

It took a bit of time in the afternoon to align and aim the finderscope, but it worked fine tonight. Put Jupiter in the cross hairs and it is in the eyepiece! The 12mm eyepiece is a good addition; since the scope came with a 4, the 6 mm eyepiece is a bit redundant but has good resolution for the money.

So if you own a Celestron telescope you need to buy this add on. The software you can toss since there are apps that work better now a days tracking the sky. But the moon filter is a must. Really helps to see the moon.The Finderscope & bracket also helps to locate the object you are trying to find. So a must buy add on. I love that one is able to really see the moon, jupiter, saturn and mars really well.

Comprei este kit antes de comprar o telescópio. Acabei comprando o telescópio errado, mas a Amazon não me enviou e consegui cancelar a compra depois de quase um mês. Aí sim comprei o telescópio certo em outra plataforma e este kit serviu perfeitamente. Rs

This is not a high end kit, don't get me wrong, but for it's price it did an awesome job getting a beat up telescope stripped for parts working again.

I had tried to get this kit when I bought the telescope but was discontinued. It is a great piece of kit and makes it easier to see more planets.

Un onesto cercatore con poca spesa. Cercatore indicato per piccoli strumenti o comunque telescopi basici. Il materiale plastico è accettabile,migliore di alcuni prodotti made in China. Simpatica la dotazione dei due oculari anch'essi basici ma sufficienti al loro scopo. Simpatico anche il borsone in omaggio con il logo Celestron. Insomma, il materiale c'è come pure l' utilizzo di questo cercatore vasico che xonunque svolge con diligenza il suo lavoro . Soddisfatto per la spesa.
