PTU-52A-2H

I bought this mic set for home karaoke use, and I’m happy with it. I had some older, wired microphones that were never loud enough. I read that wireless mics can fix that issue because the receivers have built-in preamps. It certainly worked for me. I chose this set specifically because it was in my $100 price range, the handles and receiver are constructed of metal, there are independent volume controls (on the receiver and inside the battery compartment), the signal is UHF (better than VHF), there’s dual frequency adjustment (some sets are locked to a pair of frequencies even if they look adjustable), the AA batteries are easily replaceable (I didn’t want to have to stop to recharge), and as a bonus, anti-rolling rings are included (in gray and black to distinguish the mics). This brand was also recommended in online message boards. They are easy to use. The signals on the receiver change to match each mic automatically. The handles are thicker than my old wired mics. So, if you already have a mic stand, you may need a different attachment piece. I had my first party this weekend (’90s themed), and it was a big hit. Plenty of volume and no feedback. The party was at least 5 hours long, and the included batteries lasted the entire time (plus some time spent testing beforehand). Range was not an issue at all. Apparently, this set used to come with a carrying case. That would have been nice, but one may be purchased separately if needed. I’m completely satisfied and definitely recommend this set for home use.

I was 2 days before performance for our school Christmas program and I had a problem - I had maxed out our sound board and I needed one more channel! I was running 11 wireless head mics, some choir mics, several hand mics, and projector audio, but I needed 2 channels for the projector audio. Phenyx Pro's PTU-52-2H to the rescue! My solution was to pull 2 Shure SM58 wireless mics out and replace them with the 2 PTU-52's - using the 1/4" output and using the receiver as a sub-mixer, therefore only needing one channel on my board! Worked like a charm and gave me the extra channel I needed! And the bonus was the quality of sound was as good, maybe better! The mics are well made and feel solid. They are slightly lighter than the Shure mics, but very close. Using the volume controls on the front of the reciever, I could still have seperate levels for the 2 mics. These were used as mics for our soloists in the program, so I would not have made the switch if the quality of the performance was not excellent! For the money, you can't buy anything close - and with tunable frequencies you could use multiple sets together if needed! What more could you ask!

Highly recommend them! Great sound quality over all!! Sturdy, connectivity it's awesome and easy to set up!

The Phenyx Pro Wireless Microphone System is a standout for anyone looking for professional-grade performance without the typical "big brand" price tag. This handheld cordless dynamic set feels less like a budget alternative and more like a serious piece of gear for performers and presenters. Why it’s a winner: - Solid Metal Construction: The first thing you notice is the build. Unlike the flimsy plastic microphones common in this price range, these have a sturdy, all-metal housing that feels professional and durable enough to survive regular use. - Crisp Sound Quality: The audio performance is impressively clear. It captures a rich, balanced tone that doesn't sound "tinny" or compressed, making it great for both speaking and singing. - Dependable Signal: The signal strength is a major highlight. It maintains a stable connection with minimal dropouts or interference, even at a distance. You can move around the stage or room with confidence, knowing the audio will stay consistent. - User-Friendly Setup: It’s essentially a "plug and play" system. The receiver and microphones sync up quickly, and the interface is intuitive enough for beginners while still providing the reliability a pro needs.

As someone who has been in the entertainment business for over 50 years and having had multiple different mics over those years, I can say that these are very good, especially if you compare them to more expensive brands such as Shure, Beyer etc. For the price you just cannot beat the performance of them. They provide clear vocals, good distance and low noise when handling. Used with a foam mic cover the performance is excellent. As only got them a week ago, can't comment on longevity or battery life at this stage In the pictures are a Mic I have had for 45 years from Beyer although not a radio Mic these PhenyX sounds just as good. If you buy this product, you will not be disappointed with the performance of them The plastic case is nic, but the tongues with which you close it with are cheap and nasty to use and feel like they will snap off at any moment, that's my only gripe.

Solid, crisp sound, long lasting batteries.

Our church needed a small, cheap, mobile presentation system and we added these mics into our system. They work great except for a few moments of 1 sec dropouts. If you're looking for pristine audio quality with a full dynamic range, these aren't the mics for you. But if you're looking for something that amplifies your voice with 3 star quality audio and is wireless, then this is perfect for your needs. I'm glad we purchased these. Wouldn't use them for our Sunday morning church services, but great for a quick meeting or a small worship night.

Not enough volume

Only used 3 times so far but all works really well and excellent sound quality - great performance with no feedback issues. A more sturdy carry case would be good but I had one from a previous microphone set I had. Very fast delivery and communication from the seller. I would definitely buy again and recommend.

Ordered this set as I have previously used them before. Disappointed to receive it without a decent carrying case only the cardboard box it arrived in. Previous sets had come with a black plastic carrying case also.

Professional quality sound and it’s worth the money
