Works really well and is easy to use

This is so handy! It is well-made and an innovative way to allow for self measurements that are accurate. I bought this and the regular Perfect Measuring Tape Co. All Purpose 60 Inch Double Sided Tape. Both are great. I'm trying to upgrade my wardrobe, to wearing more [full] suits or "odd" suits (suit separates). This helps me know what to look for. Even more if and when I can upgrade to bespoke. Though I think it gave me the wrong waist measurements. I'm not that big. Maybe I need to try again!😏 Above all, was actually their great customer service! As I was looking for a good tailor's measuring tape, I came across their website and asked for advice. I received a quick reply which led me here. Thank you!

This is a solid body tape measure that works exactly as intended. The auto-retract function is smooth, and it’s easy to get consistent, one-handed measurements for waist, arms, hips, and more. 🔧 My only complaint: The clip side doesn’t stay in securely. It tends to fall out too easily, which can be frustrating when trying to measure solo. Adding a small magnet or stronger snap mechanism would make a big difference and improve the user experience. ✅ Pros: Accurate and easy to use Auto-retracts cleanly Great for solo tracking of body measurements ❌ Cons: Clip side falls out easily; a magnet or stronger latch would help 🧾 Bottom Line: Overall, it’s a very useful tool, especially for fitness tracking. Love this perfect tape measure. So much easier to use than the regular tape measure. Hopefully it holds up well it’s a pleasure to use.

Works slick! Easy to use with one hand.

There is no way to hold the end of the tape securely in the base so it just repeatedly falls out while trying to take measurements.

Love this thing. Easy to use. Love the locking mechanism, makes measuring super easy.

Product is OK. But first look is not good. Regular plastic material,fixing average. Sturdiness like other normal plastic item. Fulfilling the need but seems much overcharged for the quality provided.
