Millers Forge Steel Pet Nail Clipper 743C with Safety Stop Bar Small Medium Dog

Perfect for my 30 lb Dashund mix. Very Sharp and very accurate cuts. I have never found the safety guards on nail clippers to be useful. They make it hard to see what you're doing and you cannot trust them when you get close to the quick. Maybe they're good for beginners, but they were not useful for me even when I was a beginner. Now I have been doing this for many years. At first, the locking lever kept swinging in my way and locking the clippers while I was cutting the nails. I just bent it slightly and now it stays out of the way when I'm using them. One note, they're designed not to open all the way, so even if the nails are long, you have to insert the nail through the hole in the clippers all the way at the end of the nail, you cannot just clip the nail halfway. This was annoying at first, but I realize it will prevent me from cutting anything else but the nail accidentally. Miller's Forge is a highly rated brand, and these are very inexpensive compared to how great a quality they are.

Best clippers on the market. Insanely sharp. Do not be fooled by their small appearance, I have my first pair away to my friend as I didn’t think they would be large enough for my large dogs thick nails, I tried the one day and I felt stupid for giving them away! Super easy to use. Super sharp which means quick and easy to position. The grips slide down occasionally but you can’t really complain for the price. Cheaper than sending off a pair of nail clippers to get sharpened that’s for sure. I prefer these over the orange handled millers forges, which used to be my favorite!

These are so easy to use. They actually cut the nail and not splinter or crack the nails. Easy to squeeze. Quiet when clipping. Not the loud clip some are.

I bought these after my dog started resisting nail trims because my previous nail clippers were not sharp enough. These cut through the nail much easier and my dog seems more comfortable. I wish they opened wider because having to slide it up the nail is more challenging than my old clippers that I could open wide enough to place over the nail. The latch that holds the clippers closed moves too freely and can fall into the closed position during use. So far they have remained sharp and seem to be good quality.

My dog has immensely sensitive feet, I've worked very hard with him on cooperative care to get him to the point where I could trim even one nail at a time, but other clippers tend to catch, snag, or need a ton of pressure to clip, and it freaks him out again. These don't do that, they're basically silent, they cut through his (very strong, very sensitive) nails like butter, this is the first time in the time I've had him that I've been able to finish every single nail on even one paw in one session, and he let me do BOTH of his front paws all at once. They're very sharp! These clippers literally saved me from having to have my poor pup sedated to have his nails done for health reasons, which was going to be the next step if these didn't work. The handles are super comfortable too, I have smaller hands and a lot of cilppers are bulky and unwieldy, these are simple, clean, to the point, and do their job perfectly with no extra frills.

FINALLY!! I’ve finally found the best clippers that isn’t ridiculously overpriced. I can’t believe how well these work. I’ve spent a lot on electric dog nail files and a bunch of things to get my dog to let me get her nails trimmed and FINALLY I FOUND THESE! They cut so smoothly my dog doesn’t even flinch!! I WAS SHOCKED! She hates her nails cut but she’s taken a liking to these! Guys if you struggle with getting clippers through your dogs thick nails like mine you have to get these. Affordable amazing product that I highly recommend!

My dog lets me clip her nails with these clippers. They are sharp and most importantly they are quieter than other brands. It made a treacherous experience much easier for my baby and for me! They are well made and good quality. Durable and not too big to handle. Made of steel and have a safety built in so you don’t over cut the nail.

Diese Krallenschere hat mich total überzeugt. Auch als Anfänger leicht zu handhaben und aufgrund des Sicherheitsstopps kann man sich langsam an die richtige Länge herantasten. Die Schnitte sind sehr sauber und glatt. Das einzige was ein bisschen stört ist die Sperre um die Zange zusammen zu halten. Diese dreht sich manchmal unabsichtlich rein und stoppt einen. Ein wirklich tolles Gerät.
