Awesome tama
A lot of people have complained about thr battery life on the Pix. I've ran mine for a week now with fully charged AAA enloop pros and I've still not got a low battery screen. I play on it for about an hour a day at least and rarely use the camera. I think the battery life issues are more to do with people using low quality batteries then the device itself. The touch buttons are hit and miss which is a little annoying but you do get used to it. The colour screen looks amazing and I really love the selection of games and features this tamagotchi offers. I changed my faceplate (you can look that up on online if you want to findout how to do that it's quite simple) which is why it looks different to the one shown on amazon. Overall I'm really happy with the pix. I highly recommend it if like me your returning to the world of tamagotchi

Worth the hype
It is traditional and a great classic!

Super cute, multiple languages.
Just make sure you don't rush through the starting menu as English is the second option, if you rush it picks the first option of German, it has several language options. Does drain batteries, especially when using the camera function, so rechargeables are recommended. Nice to finally own a colour tamagotchi that is in English and the characters are super cute, you can even get the famous Mimitchi from the original gen 2 tamas and also download all items/snacks/foods online but make sure you've plenty of batteries before starting that.

Battery lasts 4 days!!
Great all round gift but the batteries need changing at least once a week which is very costly. Such a shame

Good functions battery too low
I like it and the functions they do, it’s definitely advanced although I should have waited a month after to get the new one. The battery life is way too low and it is such hassle to replace it. The buttonless concept is not bad but I still prefer the buttons as it’s not always that responsive. But I would just recommend just getting the newest one, The Uni version as it’s rechargeable

The best Tamagotchi
This little toy has brought my son untold joy. He finds it very engaging, plus it 'closes down' at a reasonable hour each evening, around 7pm. It's also fairly quiet, which I appreciate. The initial outlay seemed a lot, but it's worth it for the enjoyment he gets from it.

Love it!
So much fun and lots to do! I was worried about other reviews saying the batteries don’t last long but I play it for a couple hours everyday and haven’t had an issue with the batteries! The only thing it’s not good at is detecting the colour of whatever you are taking a picture of…for example when you “cook” you have to take 2 pics to mix different colours together…it thinks most things are red. Apart from that I love this tamagotchi!!
