Beurer BiteX Original Insect Sting & Bite Relief BR60, Chemical-Free

This is an amazing product! I have had this for 3 years and it works so well. I thought it was a gimmick at first but was desperate for help with my bug bites. Just today, I was outside weeding for 40 minutes and when I came back inside I counted 38 bites on my legs. I grabbed the beurer, “burned” them all, and have only had one that I possibly missed being itchy. I am an absolute mosquito magnet and am so glad I found this. If I’m outside with 6 friends, they will end up with maybe one or two bites and I am absolutely covered. The size is perfect for holding in your hand, the on/off switch is great for saving the battery, and the button to turn it on is very easy to use. I always use the sensitive mode and have it heat up for 3 seconds. It gives me a break if I need it and then I can push the button again for another 3 seconds. The itching goes away IMMEDIATELY!!! Some areas are definitely more sensitive to the heating plate, and it can feel painful for a second or two, but it is worth it for the relief. I just noticed that beurer makes a keychain version of this and I’m now on the hunt for it so that I can keep one in my car! I’ve had the same batteries in the machine for the 3 years that I have had it and it is still going strong. I would make sure that this is put away high enough where young children can’t play with it. While I don’t think that it could cause extreme damage, the plate does get super hot and kids might get injured if they play with it.

UPDATE! How quickly products change I couldn’t find it for a while and then when I needed it, it didn’t work. The blue light goes on and nothing happens. I gave it fresh batteries so don’t expect it to be more than a limited use. I love this product. It really has helped me living on the creek and getting those mosquito bites and especially those spider bites that usually lasted 7 to 10 days went away within a few days. My problem was I misplaced it somewhere in the house so I just went ahead and ordered another one because I think a person who is ambidextrous can use two of these. Those who are will understand.

All of my life I have been a mosquito magnet. They love me for some reason. My husband and I will both be outside, and I’ll literally get 20 bites, and he’ll get none. Then I itch so badly that I’ll scratch myself bloody, and my sleep will be disrupted. I’ve tried every lotion and repellant known to man. The repellants help, but this thing saves me when I forget to use repellant or end up with a bite anyway. Yesterday I went outside to feed the chickens and ducks, and I got 15 bites on my arms and legs. We were going out that night, so I showered and then sat down to treat my bites. The gadget heats up when you turn it on, and you apply it to the bite. I applied it twice to each of my bites, and the itching STOPPED. I showed my husband all of the bites on my legs yesterday. Today I showed him again, and he couldn’t believe the welts were gone. He knows that I usually end up scratching them so much while I sleep that they bleed, and when he DOES actually get bitten, he ends up with a welt too. Even he was amazed at the difference. The gadget burns a little, so I’m not sure this would be great for little kids, but for me it’s FANTASTIC. I apply it twice to each bite, and the itching is gone. I can’t believe it! It’s almost like a miracle for me. I’ve dealt with this problem all of my life. My family has always been big into camping, fishing, and hiking all over the world, I grew up on a pond, and I’ve had horses all of my life. Lots of mosquitoes! One time in Canada on a camping trip, I counted 100 bites. In Virginia we basically lived on a swamp and spent many lovely hours hiking in the Shenandoah mountains. I now live on a small farm near a pond, and unless I spray repellant (which I hate,) I get soooo many bites. I wish I had this years ago! I just changed the batteries that came with it today, and I bought it last year, so they’ve lasted months. I’ve used it all summer long. I hope this device will last a long time because it has made my life so much better. For me, it’s worth the very short burning sensation (again, I always use it twice on each bite) to stop the itching so that I don’t scratch the bite until bleeds and so I can sleep! Honestly, I want to thank the inventor and maker of this device. It really has made my life so much better! I plan to buy one for my niece who is a mosquito magnet like I am as a gift. It’s crazy how much I use this thing and how grateful I am for it! Thank you!

Solid product I think. At first, it seemed like it worked beautifully each time. The itching relief was immediate and also lasting. I've applied it tons this summer since I am a natural mosquito magnet. But recently, I've felt that it doesn't give me lasting relief anymore. Some bites that linger longer will still itch. I've also naturally just stopped being bothered by mosquito bites as I've gotten older. However, I'm the only one in the family willing to go through the initial heat sting so it doesn't get much use outside of myself.

I've been using mine for three years now, and it still works great! I just ordered another for my sister, who also has strong reactions to mosquito bites. The batteries last a very long time. I think in three years I have changed them twice, so I probably get about a year out of each set. Certainly no less than half a season. I always double-click the button to use the 6-second setting. It definitely hurts momentarily, but it doesn't get hot enough to cause any tissue damage. You just have to tough it out for five seconds (it takes about one second to get up to temp). For most mosquito bites, I use it once, and the itch disappears for about four hours - sometimes a little less, and sometimes the itch never returns. For very large bite sites, I use it twice in two spots next to each other. The earlier you catch it, the better. I combine this with an allergy pill (cetirizine hydrochloride, which is the generic for Zyrtec), and I'm virtually itch-free all season. I can't recommend this product enough! One note - I had one situation - some particularly bothersome bites from tiny ants in Costa Rica - that this thing didn't really work for. I think they were just on a whole other level of itch from mosquitoes. But that's the only itchy bite that this device hasn't cured for me.

I'm one of those people that attract mosquitos...my whole life I've been plagued with swarms of mosquitos and the resulting multitude of bites. This bite healer seemed to good to be true when I came across it, but I figured it was worth a try. Once I received in I didn't have to wait long to get the opportunity to give it a shot (I'd never been more excited to get bitten) - let me tell you that this little device is a life saver!! It's size makes it easily transportable, which is good because you want to zap those bites as soon as you can for maximum benefits. I will say though, that I've used the device on day-old bites and it still works really well. I found that once I used the device on a bite - I didn't even think about it, let alone feel itchy AT ALL. It works by putting intense heat on the bite itself, which can be uncomfortable, but is absolutely worth saving yourself from being constantly itchy. If you're your family's mosquito magnet - do yourself a favor and get yourself this bite healer.

If you are sensitive and reactive to bug bites you NEED this!! I have always been a bug magnet, I’ll get eaten alive and my husband won’t get a single bite. Most of my life it’s been mosquitos - I get giant welts with each bite. I recently moved to Florida and I haven’t gotten any mosquito bites yet but there’s some other kind of bug bite I’ve been getting. I’ve been getting eaten up so bad at first I thought I was having some kind of rash or bed bugs or something. Benadryl cream wasn’t helping. The bug bite thing (suction device) wasn’t helping. I learned it’s a different kind of bug out here that I never see land on me or feel bite me but the bites are even itchier than mosquitos for me and they last much longer. This device has helped sooooooo much. So much relief and it’s instant. If I use it right away it seems to basically destroy the bug bite. If I use it days later it helps interrupt the itchy flare up so it still helps give me relief. I’m generally sensitive to heat so it does feel pretty hot to me, I keep saying ow when it heats up but I think I’ll get used to it. I already notice the more I use it on a certain area the less sensitive I feel to the temperature. My husband says he doesn’t even feel the heat and laughs at me for saying ow. So it depends on your skin and heat sensitivity. It’s so worth it though even though I’m saying ow haha

Pros: It legitimately works! Went to the mountains with the family and both my wife and I got some bites. I was a bit skeptical but literally within SECONDS of using this it no longer itched and the bump seemed minimized. Seems like black magic, honestly. Cons: It burned a lot more than we were expecting. It says Ages 3-12 is OK with adult supervision... yeah, no. Even using the 3 second version instead of the 6 second version, my 6.5 year old could not stand it. Didn't even try with the 3.5 year old because he saw his older brothers reaction and was scared of it. Might be sensitive kids, but wouldn't count on this for kids.

I can't express the satisaction of this amazing product! how come I've never heard of it before! Love it!!!

Quality good and it's work I thought before it wouldn't work but after trying it's remove the pain

I find that this genuinely works, at least for a few hours. I find that I later have to re-apply the heat to the bite to numb the itch. Once I do, the itch definitely goes away. The product comes in very good quality packaging and is made really well. Not flimsy or easy to break. I've dropped it a couple times already and it still works well. Easy to use and if you can handle the few seconds of burn, it is worth it because that little bit of burn easily outweighs the hours and days of itch and bleed and scab that I usually get from bites.

Nice, portable design. Works like a charm. No regrets.

Mi sangre es dulce miel para mosquitos y otros bichos. Vivo en Xalapa, así que estoy dispuesto a probar cualquier producto, mágico, mecánico o digital. El aparato no evita que te piquen sino que alivia la comezón y lo hace de inmediato. Este aparato, de tecnología alemana, lo que hace es focalizar calor sobre el piquete. A mí me funciona a la perfección, inmediatamente me deja de dar comezón. Ojo, mucho ojo: el calor que emite parece que te quema, se siente como si te acercaran un cigarro al piquete. Si eres muy susceptible al dolor, no te lo recomiendo; pero si aguantas, pues adelante. Al cabo son solo unos segundos. Le iba a quitar una estrella porque sus tiempos de calor han sido variables. Se supone que aplastas el botón una vez y debería ofrecer 3 segundos de calor, aplastarlo dos veces debería de dar 6 segundos. Eso dejó funcionar bien a las pocas semanas, pero decidí no regresarlo ni quitarle una estrella porque me alivia bastante y se ha vuelto mi mejor amigo, lo llevo para todas partes. Simplemente cuento los segundos (1-Guanajuato, 2-Guanajuato, 3-Guanajuato) y lo levanto.
