Powerful Nutrition Instant Protein Oatmeal Packets, Apple Cinnamon, 20 Count, 15g of Protein, 3g of Fiber, Kosher, Natural Ingredients, Power Up Your Day with an Instant Breakfast

I'll assume most of the people reading this have some experience with instant oatmeal, so I'll skip the obvious.I was specifically looking for protein oatmeal-- I've tried the "bigger name-brands" and found them lacking in flavor, or protein-to-sugar ratio. I figured I might as well give Powerful Oatmeal a shot, before I start just mixing my own oats and protein powder myself. I'm glad I tried this oatmeal first; here's the rundown:--- PROS+ I was pleasantly surprised with the apple and cinnamon flavor, and the amount of WHEY protein in each packet. I don't react well to soy, so I'm very glad they use whey protein.+ There's a good amount of oatmeal in each packet, and when made with the right amount of water has a good (not soupy) consistency.--- CONS The only real downside is the packaging itself.- The box arrived partially opened, which could've happened at any point in shipping, but in any case, the box shouldn't do that.- The individual packets have a "fill line" to assist with using the right amount of water, that's nice, however the packets never open cleanly. Even when I tear right along the "tear here" line, I still end-up with a vertical rip along the side of the packet that makes filling the packet with water impossible.--- CONCLUSIONPackaging issues aside, I would still recommend this oatmeal to anyone looking for a quicker solution to mixing their own oats and whey protein. I'd be willing to see what other flavors they have as well, as long as they keep the same nutrient profile.

This oatmeal tastes awful, has a consistency like chalk, and is just really bad. I forced myself through two packages and then threw the rest out. I wouldn’t eat or recommend these ever.

I love this oatmeal with extra cinnamon and fresh blueberries. It’s a great start to the day. The bulk of it keeps your body running smoothly (!) and keeps you feeling full for a good deal of the morning.

I bought this for the macros and I'm happy with them. Flavor was pretty mild and chalky, but it was filling

Super quick and easy! Tastes delicious with out being overly sweet. Super convenient line to measure the water and microwaveable.

The product had a chalkier taste toIt. Still palatable if you add something like peanut butter or honey etc.

Chalky and kind of gritty. Flavor is bland and doesn’t taste any better whether you use water or milk. Still haven’t finished the box I bought and may not even try to. I would not buy again.

Liked the hint of cinnamon and bits of apple in the oatmeal. Consistency was better when cooked on the stove and only took a few minutes. Great choice over plain oatmeal. Definitely recommend.
